DaBaby is — once again — the subject of a viral video online, most recently being filmed tussling with his own label signee, rapper Wisdom.
The clip posted on @prince_mazani’s Instagram account Saturday shows the “Suge” rapper, 30, walking backstage at a venue when he spins and throws a punch at Wisdom, who immediately began to swing back. The pair only appeared to lightly graze each other with their hits before the fight was quickly diffused by their entourage.
There is no word on what prompted the fight.
DaBaby, born Jonathan Kirk, was among many headliners for the Spring Jam 2022 event at Colonial Life Arena in Columbus, S.C. Friday night, though it has not been confirmed as the venue where the backstage altercation took place.
The incident comes weeks after the southern spitter shot a home intruder in the leg after exchanging words with the trespasser.
“I shot him in the leg,” a man told a 911 dispatcher in a six-minute emergency call released by Iredell County Emergency Communications and obtained by WCNC.
“OK and why did you do that?” the dispatcher asked.
The rapper recently shot a man for trespassing on his North Carolina estate. WireImage“He’s trespassing on my property … I don’t know what he’s here for. What he’s here to take, what he’s here to do … He’s neutralized until you guys get here.”
Just weeks prior, the “VIBEZ” artist went viral for attempting to kiss an uninterested fan after a show.
