Dancer Aliya Janell Helps Get The Word Out About Gatorade’s New Water!

Dancer and choreographer Aliya Janell, fresh off Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour, went right into her next exciting project when Gatorade reached out to her about their new water.

Janell, along with the Les Twins and Witney Carson, are helping Gatorade launch their first unflavored water through a bold, digital-first campaign, “Always in Motion, which captures the spirit of the athlete who’s making moves daily.

Gatorade just launched their first ever flavorless water. Gatorade Water, alkaline water with a pH of 7.5 or higher and electrolyte infused, was developed for active people looking for all-day hydration.

Being a busy dancer and choreographer, Janell knows how important it is to stay hydrated, so she jumped at the chance to help spread the word about the new product that just hit store shelves. And the timing couldn’t have been better for Janell, who just finished up the Renaissance tour with Beyonce.

“We just hopped into 2024 and I’m fresh off of the Renaissance tour with Beyonce and I just didn’t think it could get any bigger than that. Low and behold, Gatorade came into my email and we hit it off and I am here to celebrate and to announce to the world that Gatorade is finally, finally coming out with their own water,” she told The Blast exclusively.

“Water is essential to every mover, every dancer, every entertainer, so it makes so much sense to have me alongside the Les Twins and Witney Carson. I’m honored to be here and honored to be the representation.”

Chief brand officer at Gatorade, Anuj Bhasin, said in a statement, “Today’s athletes are more wellness-minded than ever, and they expect Gatorade to meet all of their hydration needs, 24/7. Gatorade Water is an all-day hydration option for all active people, no matter who they are or how much they move, from the leader in sports fuel that they know and trust.”

Janell, who’s been dancing for much of her life, said she’s always been a “mover.” She’s been dancing professionally for about 10 years and teaching her “Queens N’ Lettos” class for about seven.

“I’ve been dancing ever since I could remember. I know that’s such a cliche answer, but I’ve always been a mover. I’ve always loved the music,” she said.

“It’s something that I didn’t have to try to do. It just always came natural to me and I really didn’t think that it was possible to dance professionally but with experience and the right people that you meet and the right places that you’re in, opportunities come when you’re ready when you’re spiritually ready, physically ready, all of that.”

To pick one favorite past project would be like picking a favorite child for Janell, but she said nothing beats teaching dance classes around the world.

“Nothing beats teaching my combinations and my routines to the other side of the world. I was just in Australia, just came from Greece, was in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, I’m going to Europe later on this year,” she said.

“Nothing beats that because they just want me, they don’t want anything else. They just want what I naturally bring in my class so nothing beats teaching, really.”

Aliya Janell Is Getting Ready To Release Her Debut Single!

In addition to taking the dance world by storm, Janell is getting ready to release her first single, “Keep Dancing.”  If someone would have asked her what she wants to accomplish in the future last year, she would have said to release her own music. And now she’s gearing up to do just that.

“And now all these things are happening at the same time,” she said. “After this, the sky’s the limit.”

Her message to others is that we are all more than just “one thing” and with the right action, anything can happen.

“I want people to know that we are all, including myself, more than just one thing. We are artists, period. We are unlimited beings and whatever it is that you want to do, whether you have or not, you can do it,” Janell told The Blast. “You just have to put it into action, and this is me putting everything into action and seeing what’s really meant for me and where my next mark is.”

And for the younger generation, Janell said, “just do it” no matter what!

“No matter what other people say they think that you should have, or what age, or where you should be, no matter what, you can make things happen just as long as you stay kind and stay a good person,” she said. “Whatever is meant for you will never, ever miss you. Just have fun and really take what this life has to offer because it’s a lot.”
