Debi Mazar defended her “beautiful” friend Madonna as the internet continues to rag on the singer’s physical appearance.
“I don’t pay attention to any of it,” Mazar told Page Six at the Miscast23 Gala earlier this week. “I think Madonna is beautiful and I don’t pay attention to what people say about me or about anybody.”
“Everyone [on the internet] has an opinion these days and the only way really to survive, only the strong survive, is not to hear all the noise,” she continued.
The “Younger” star reiterated, “I think Madonna is beautiful.”
The Queen of Pop also clapped back at the critical comments following her appearance at the Grammys in February.

“I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come,” she continued before quoting Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul.”
Mazar, 58, and Madonna, 64, first met in the ’80s at Danceteria in New York and Mazar was hired to do the singer’s makeup for the music video “Everybody.”

“I remember the day that it was happening and the day that he signed it,” she told us, sharing that she was “really sad” to hear of Stein’s death.
“He was a real mensch, a true New York visionary and I was very happy that he said yes to her and changed her career,” she explained.
Mazar also opened up about her move to Italy.debimazar/InstagramMazar was in town from her new home in Italy, where she moved with her family before the Covid-19 pandemic.
The “Entourage” star married Italian cooking personality Gabriele Corcos in 2002 and they share daughters, Evelina, 20, and Giulia, 17. The couple co-wrote two cookbooks and hosted a cooking show together.
As much as Mazar adores living in Italy, she confessed to bouts of melancholy for New York.

“There’s nothing I don’t miss. I mean, I love Italy, it’s my home as well. I’m an Italian citizen. I have a very different life in both places.”
The “Civil Wars” star shared that since moving to Europe she’s started working more there.
“It’s been a very interesting career move for me,” she explained.
