‘Disappointed’ Annemarie Wiley fired from ‘RHOBH’ after 1 season

Annemarie Wiley has been fired from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” after less than one season.

“I just got word today that I will not be returning to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement,” the reality star wrote via Instagram Thursday.

Wiley, 40, emphasized that she “never auditioned” to be on the hit Bravo show, and claimed she was asked to star on it “out of the blue” – and six weeks “after the cast had already started filming.”

“To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement,” Wiley wrote via Instagram Thursday. Annemarie Wiley/Instagram Wiley said she was “very excited about the opportunity” when she was asked to join for Season 13. Emily Shur/Bravo

“I was very excited about the opportunity, and I thought following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming the last season was the way the ‘game was played.’ Listening to what I was instructed to do was my rookie mistake,” she continued.

The nurse anesthesiologist reiterated that she was “disappointed” that viewers “never got to see the real me or even a glimpse of my unique life story.”

“Contrary to what was shown on TV, I am not obsessed with the esophagus! LOL,” she added, referring to an argument she got into with Sutton Stracke over the size of Stracke’s esophagus.

Wiley explained that as a “proud black woman” married to a “wonderful strong black man” with “four wonderful children,” she wishes that could’ve been featured more on “RHOBH.”

“It was an important mission of mine for the next season to show a solid black family unit and that ‘true black love’ exists, even in Beverly Hills,” she wrote.

She also informed fans she has struggled with the loss of her mother –– who died “within weeks of taping” –– as well as “adoption trauma” and beginning to search for her biological parents.

“All of which was taped, but never shown last season … among other things,” she vaguely wrote.

Wiley concluded by thanking fans who “saw the REAL me” and wished the rest of the cast “good luck on the next season.” She also thanked Bravo “for the opportunity.”

“As an athlete, challenges only make you stronger and more determined to prosper! I’m excited for the new opportunities ahead that celebrate positivity, truth, authenticity, and the values I truly align with,” she wrote before signing off with her name and a heart emoji.

Wiley was introduced as Kyle Richards’ friend halfway through Season 13, which just finished airing on Bravo. She butted heads with Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff but started developing relationships with the rest of the women.

Several fans flocked to the comments section to express their disappointment in the decision.

“Very disappointing. Why? I’m sorry but Crystal is boring and needs to go. I enjoyed seeing a housewife have a career that many could relate too. I’m an RN and it was refreshing to have you on the show. ❤,” someone else added.

“They couldn’t handle the grateness [sic]!! Their loss, continue being an amazing mom, wife, friend, APN, advocate, etc. You have inspired so many!!!! ????????,” another person commented.

Bravo has yet to announce the cast for Season 14 of “RHOBH.”
