Eric Decker Refuses To Get A Vasectomy: ‘Takes Manhood Away’

34-year-old country music singer Jessie James Decker and her husband, former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker, are one of the most talked about couples in Hollywood.

The two tied the knot at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Castle Rock, Colorado in 2013 and they share three children together — daughter Vivianne Rose, 7, and sons Eric “Bubby” Thomas II, 6, and Forrest Bradley, 3.

But are the Deckers thinking about having more children?

When promoting her partnership with Heluva Good! Dips, the country music singer also brought up the topic of having more children. It seems as though Jessie James Decker is ready to call her family complete, but her husband, Eric, “refuses to go make it permanent.”

“I keep asking him, ‘Go make that appointment’ and he won’t. He just won’t do it,” she told US Weekly. “He says it takes, like, his manhood away from him. So he’s just gonna leave it, I guess.”

Without a vasectomy, more children could possibly come along, which Decker says would be a “blessing,” though she is not planning on adding to her family.

“I mean, you know, if it happens, it’s always a blessing,” she said. “We’re not doing anything to truly prevent that.”

The “Should’ve Known Better” singer previously spoke out about growing her family, which she admits does not align with her husband’s outlook on things.

“He won’t book it. He will not book it,” she told the magazine in January 2022 in regards to her husband booking a vasectomy. “It’s still TBD.”
