Erika Jayne shops TJ Maxx amid legal and financial troubles

From Neiman’s and Saks to TJ Maxx.

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne was spotted perusing the discount retail store in Pasadena, Calif. with her assistant this week.

Wearing a black T-shirt and Adidas track pants, the embattled reality star — who once bragged about spending $40,000 a month on glam — found herself eyeing last season’s marked-down duds at the reasonably-priced retailer before heading over to PetCo, where she purchased a dog ladder to help her canine companion get in and out of her SUV.

The shopping trip was far from a relaxing one, as the star’s phone was reportedly ringing off the hook all afternoon.

Jayne is currently facing multiple lawsuits stemming from allegations that she and her estranged husband and disgraced attorney, Tom Girardi, lived lavishly off of money meant for plane crash victims he represented.

Since being accused of embezzlement, the “XXpen$ive” singer has been spotted in more frugal surroundings and has embraced a far less glam aesthetic overall.

This didn’t quiet fans, however, who took issue with Jayne going topless on Instagram amid the weighty allegations.

“Take those photos before jail honey,” one person wrote.

Another chimed in, “Classic case of disassociation! Get quiet and find your soul!”

Girardi’s law firm, Girardi Keese, has been forced into Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and it was reported last month that the company is over $101 million in debt.

Jayne was also sued for allegedly spending $25 million of the firm’s money on glam, PR companies and her Amex bill over the last 12 years.

Her lawyers adamantly deny any wrongdoing on her part.

As for her “RHOBH” castmates, Lisa Rinna has been marked as Jayne’s “only friend” amid her troubles — which are currently being played out on the hit Bravo series.
