Longoria and Bastón have decided to leave behind the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles for Spain as they are allegedly concerned about their five-year-old son, Santiago, getting "sucked into the Hollywood cycle."

The source disclosed that Longoria and Bastón "want to raise their son in a place where he will be surrounded by nature and beauty and not be sucked into the whole Hollywood cycle."

Longoria and her husband acquired a lavish six-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion in Marbella in early 2023.

Collaborating with architect and interior designer Nicolás Escanez, they set out to renovate the sprawling 1,531-square-meter estate, which features an indoor pool, sauna, and a cutting-edge home gym.

The "Devious Maid" star unveiled her opulent home to Hello magazine in January, expressing her love for Marbella.

Reflecting on her connection to the city, she shared: "The first time I came to Marbella, two decades ago, it was love at first sight. I said to myself: 'Someday I'll live here.'"

Sharing her excitement about finding the perfect home, the 49-year-old credited her keen-eyed collaborator Escanez for identifying the ideal property.

She continued: "I viewed a few places, but nothing was quite what I wanted. Finally, in early 2023, this house came on the market. It needed refurbishing, but it had just the size and location I was after."

"So, taking advantage of the fact that I was in Barcelona filming, I came down and bought it that same day," she added.
