Farrah Abraham is asking that her fans donate during the upcoming ‘Giving Tuesday’ holiday to support sexual assault victims.
The former ‘Teen Mom’ star shared a message from ‘RAINN‘ — an organization helping victims of assault. ‘Giving Tuesday’ is a holiday falling on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, where people kick off the holiday season by giving back to their community in some way.
In many cases, it is donating money to a charitable cause, or volunteering somewhere to benefit your community.
The reality star is asking her 3 million followers to consider giving to RAINN next week. She included a lengthy message on why this is such an important cause. “WHY? The resources it takes to mentally, physically get your life back after being violated hurts a person to their core, affects their family, work, friends, and breaks the person,” she began.

MegaFarrah continued, “Rebuilding victims of assault is no small task and the more we all can help even as surviving victors, not victims anymore helps us all overcome triggers, abuse, and rape culture! Consent Culture Support is here louder and stronger than ever!”
It should be noted, RAINN pride’s itself as “the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization” and “created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.”
‘Giving Tuesday’ Organizers Ask For ‘Radical Generosity’ Next Week
MegaFarrah gave a shout-out to followers on her social media for sharing the message across all platforms. “THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS POST WITH OTHERS WHO HAVE SEEN THE POWER OF A VICTIM RESOURCE CENTER,” she wrote.
‘Giving Tuesday’ started back in 2012, and its creators call for the holiday to bring “radical generosity.” The event was started by ’92nd Street Y’ a non-profit organization started in 1874, as a part of a partnership with the United Nations Foundation. The annual events have grown each year, with the movement being recognized in 80 countries around the world.
Last year, people donated $2.5 Billion in the United States, according to estimates.

As we’ve reported, Farrah is a victim of sexual assault, which allegedly happened towards the end of her 20s. The reality star opened up about the situation in her book, saying, “I was sexually assaulted in the last months of myself being in my 20’s. Becoming a victim of sexual assault has changed my life. It had me push back this book release, it has me taking more time and realizing I am not at the capacity I used to be at.”
Following the incident, Farrah reported the crime to police and was interviewed inside a Rape Trauma Center.
