Per the lawsuit, on September 13, 2022, Katherine Adelia Bourke approached a 4-way stop intersection at Torrey Pines Drive and Twain Avenue in Vegas. Per The Blast's previous report, "the victim claimed the 2022 incident occurred when the Mayweather Money Team entered the Yard House restaurant near Crypto.com arena (which is formerly known as Staples Center) in L.A., which resulted in a large crowd gathering around them, causing a commotion."

A member of Mayweather's team approached the alleged victim "negligently, carelessly, intentionally, maliciously and/or physically touched, struck and/or hit [the victim] by striking him and causing him to fall to the ground," per the documents.
