No custody drama is stopping Grimes from living her best life with her new man, Anyma.
The Canadian musician excited fans after she went Instagram official with Anyma, also known as Matteo Milleri, on Friday.
The romantic debut comes after Grimes requested the court to dismiss her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk‘s custody suit filed in Texas.
Grimes Packs On The PDA In The Post Launching Her Boyfriend
MEGAThe internet came alive when Grimes posted three photos featuring her and Anyma’s silhouettes illuminated by a pink sunset lamp.
In one snapshot, the couple is shown in a sweet moment as the singer-songwriter faces her new boyfriend while he gently caresses her cheek.
In the next image, they locked lips before breaking apart to stare soulfully into each other’s eyes.
For the intimate shots, Grimes paired a dark bodysuit with a thick belt and a cropped shrug, while Anyma opted for a dark tank top and pants.
The silhouette pictures, which have gained over 256k likes, came with the caption, “Beauty and the Beast.”
Fans Lose Their Minds Over Grimes & Anyma’s Love
As mentioned, the sight of Grimes and Anyma looking in love quickly set her fans into a happy mood, with someone quipping, “I just fell to my knees in WholeFoods,” and another emphatically stating, “ONE H— OF A HARD LAUNCH.”
A third Instagram user commented, “Now, this is a relationship that makes sense,” a fourth disclosed, “I’m so happy to see my favorite artist and my favorite DJ together. Wishing you the best for the future,” and a fifth claimed, “huge win for people who like electronic music.”
“Anyma and Grimes, the edm couple final boss,” a sixth Grimes fan cheered, as a seventh chimed, “Oh, I know he’s gonna produce some crazy s—for her.”

Anyma & Grimes Worked Together On Her 2023 Album
Before publicizing their relationship, the “Flesh without Blood” hitmaker and Anyma teamed up to release their collaborative song, “Welcome To The Opera,” which was featured on her album Genesys.
They performed the track together at the Tomorrowland Music Festival in Belgium in July 2023.
According to NME, Grimes, real name Claire Boucher, Grimes premiered the track during her DJ set at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas in May 2022.
She later tweeted about potentially releasing a demo of the song if Anyma was interested, mentioning her desire to edit it further before its official release.
Not too long after, Grimes and the DJ unveiled the official version of the track, accompanied by a sci-fi music video.
Grimes & Elon Musk Are At Each Other’s Throats In Their Custody Battle
MEGAMonths later, in October 2023, Grimes moved to throw out the custody lawsuit filed against her by her ex, Musk, in Texas.
Musk alleged that their one-year-old children, Techno “Tau” Mechanicus and Exa Dark Sideræl, lived together in Texas for a few months in 2023 alongside their son X Æ A-Xii.
However, Grimes countered in her lawsuit that she and her children relocated to California in December 2022.
The Blast reported at the time that the 36-year-old argued that she lacked significant ties to Texas, whereas her former partner had strong connections to California.
Consequently, the “Genesis” artist asserted that the court did not have jurisdiction over their custody dispute. Before Musk’s custody suit in Texas, Grimes initiated her own suit in California on September 29.
Initially sealed from public view, court documents later revealed that Grimes sought physical custody of her children and requested a “standard restraining order” against Musk to prevent the children from leaving California.
Grimes Frustrated Over Inability To See Her Son
Earlier that same month, Grimes expressed frustration on X, formerly Twitter, about her inability to see her youngest son, prompting a response from Musk’s biographer.
Despite the tension, Grimes eventually reached out to the Tesla founder’s new partner, Shivon Zilis, absolving her of blame.
In case you missed it, the romance between the singer and Musk began in April 2018. They made waves with their first public appearance at the Met Gala the following month.
The ex-lovebirds parted ways in March 2022 after three years together. Musk later revealed last year that they had quietly welcomed Tau.
