"People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents' home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am."

Ken and Gypsy were in a long-term relationship and got engaged in 2018, but they ultimately split while she was still in prison. After Ken's name became public, someone had apparently told Gypsy's parole officer that she was hanging out with a felon -- but she is shutting that down.

"Wrong, he doesn't have a criminal record," she said in the video, "Never been in prison, he's not a felon."

Ken admitted, "I've been to jail one time for one night for driving on a suspended license back in like 2014."

In 2014, Gypsy Rose and her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, plotted the murder of Gypsy's mom, Dee Dee Blanchard, who abused Gypsy for practically her entire life.

Gypsy Rose said her mother took her to the hospital over 100 times and went as far as convincing the doctors to perform various surgeries, including gastrointestinal operations, the removal of her salivary glands, and certain eye procedures -- all of which she did not need.

Both Gypsy and Nicholas were sentenced to prison. Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years with the possibility of parole after she completed 85% of her sentence, while Nicholas was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Shortly before her release, Gypsy Rose Blanchard spoke to PEOPLE, admitting that if she "had another chance to redo everything" she doesn't know "if [she] would go back to when [she] was a child and tell [her] aunts and uncles that [she's] not sick and mommy makes [her] sick."

She added, "Or, if I would travel back to just the point of that conversation with Nick and tell him, 'You know what, I'm going to go tell the police everything.' I kind of struggle with that."

Ryan picked Gypsy up from prison in a car with a wrestling-themed license plate that read "HITMAN" and showed up with a camera crew. The two moved in together shortly thereafter, but have since split. Gypsy is now living at home with her family.
