That is the synopsis that Amazon Prime Video provides for LuLaRich, but do not let this one pass you by.
Telling the story of a rags-to-riches for a married couple who set up a fast-fashion company, who state that they wanted LuLaRoe to empower stay-at-home moms who maybe wanted to make a little extra money. The sell of making full time cash while working part time hours was massively alluring to what began as a small number of supporters, before LuLaRoe found themselves setting up tens of thousands of businesses for women all across America.
The four-part docu-series talks to the founders of the company, as well as their closest family, friends and business partners, as well as former LuLaRoe saleswomen and the uniquely bizarre, sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking situations they all found themselves in.
The directors are behind 2019's hit documentary Fyre Fraud, and once you get introduced to some of the characters in LuLaRich, you would definitely pick up on the comparisons to Tiger King.
