Jelly Roll’s private jet was forced to make an emergency landing Friday as he was traveling to Austin, Texas, for the 2024 CMT Music Awards.

His wife, Bunnie XO, documented the surprise on TikTok and shared a clip of the pilot informing the group they were experiencing technical issues. The country star, 39, relayed more information about the situation once they got on the ground safely.

“Oh! The plane just got turned around. They turned the plane around,” he said in an upbeat tone. “They said it’s an issue with the computer.”

“Our plane we were on just stopped mid-air & turned around for an emergency landing ????,” Bunnie XO wrote atop the video.

She appeared to be back in the private jet in a second clip she posted about the ordeal. “When the private jet you’re in just stopped mid-air, turned around & said we had to emergency land because of a malfunction,” she wrote in a message over the video, which showed her sitting with several people.

“CMT i swear we’re coming ???? #jellyandbunnie,” she captioned the post.

The singer described his wife, who is stepmom to his daughter, Bailee, and son, Noah, as “a beacon of change” in his life during a 2023 interview with Billboard.

“You’re talking about a woman that came in and took a child that was soon to be born and a child that [we were] soon to have full custody of,” he explained.

“I would have never got custody of my daughter without her. I wouldn’t have had the stability or the money.”
