‘Jeopardy!’ Host Ken Jennings Shares Rare Photo Of His Teenage Son

“Jeopardy!” host Ken Jennings does not often share details about his personal life, but he decided to give fans a glimpse at his family over the weekend when he shared a photo of his teenage son, Dylan, during a fun father-and-son bonding moment.

On Saturday, October 1, the “Jeopardy!” Greatest of All Time tournament winner took his 19-year-old son to a Seattle Mariners game and decided to share a photo of their outing with his 492.3K Twitter followers.

Ken Jennings Celebrates The Mariners Win With His Son Dylan

On Saturday, October 1, the “Jeopardy!” champ snapped a photo of his son wearing a blue Mariners jersey and flashing a thumbs-up for the camera while holding a tray of food in the other hand.

“The last time his team made it to the playoffs, this guy wasn’t born yet,” Ken captioned the tweet. “He just started his sophomore year of college. Congrats @Mariners!”

Ken married his wife Mindy in 2000, four years before his record-setting 74-game “Jeopardy!” run. The couple shares two children: Dylan Jennings, 19, and Caitlin Elizabeth Jennings, 15.

Although many fans praised the sweet snap, the post also set off a debate about what it was the college student was eating.

“Is that Hawaiian food? I see rice and mac salad,” one fan noticed. “Same thing my kid wanted to know! ‘What is he eating?” another follower asked. One follower revealed that the plate was actually called a “Marination,” which consists of spam musubis, charred huli huli chicken, macaroni salad, slaw, rice, and Kalua pork sliders.

Contestant Donna Lettow competed on season 38, episode 76, which aired on December 27, 2021, and lost to reigning champ Amy Schneider, who set a 40-game win streak that ended in January 2022.

Donna commented on the post, tweeting, “If my beloved O’s had to be denied their moment in the October sun, at least it was by another team of comeback kids. Best of luck in the post-season!”

“He’s a handsome young man, Ken. Thanks for sharing with us!” another fan wrote.

“He is a cutie for sure! Thanks for sharing this photo. I love seeing this type of share!” another follower commented.

Other fans felt that he was the spitting image of his father, with one follower writing, “Kinda looks like that Ken Jennings on tv.”

So Who Is Currently Hosting ‘Jeopardy!’?

Earlier this year, “Jeopardy!” executive producer Michael Davies announced that Ken Jennings and “The Big Bang Theory” alum Mayim Bialik would be co-hosting season 39 of “Jeopardy!”. Ken will host the 2022 Tournament of Champions, which will air in November, and continue hosting every day until the end of the calendar year. The “Call Me Kat” star will start hosting in January for an undetermined amount of time.

However, fans who are looking forward to watching Mayim host don’t have to wait. She is currently hosting “Celebrity Jeopardy!“, which airs every Sunday night on ABC. Although fans were initially nervous about the one-hour format, which includes a “Triple Jeopardy!” round, fans are glad to see that there is enough time to get to every question on the board, as well as watch their favorite celebrities compete for charity.

Fans are also looking forward to their favorites from season 38 competing again in the upcoming Tournament of Champions. Fans can learn more about the brand new formatting switch-up producers are trying out this year by clicking here.
