Jessica Chastain is taking her role as Tammy Faye Bakker seriously.
The 44-year-old actress got all glammed up for the premiere of “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” on Tuesday, sporting a sparkling silver Burberry dress, matching metallic eye makeup and sexy ’70s waves.
“We went full Disco Jesus and I saw the light,” Chastain captioned a photo of her prep for the night.
On the red carpet, the actress posed with a gaggle of drag queens, miraculously managing to hold her own in the glamour department.
Chastain also snapped pics with fellow Hollywood redhead Isabelle Huppert and her co-stars in the film, including Vincent D’Onofrio and Cherry Jones.
Though Chastain is clearly embracing the spirit of Tammy Faye, she revealed last month that transforming into the notorious televangelist — with heavy makeup and prosthetics that took an average of four hours to apply each day — took a toll on her skin.

And when you’re wearing it all day, every day — the weight of it on your body, it stretches your skin out.”
“I finally took it off, and I was like, ‘I look 50 years old!’” she continued. “No, I’m kidding. But it’s fine. It’s for my art.”
“The Eyes of Tammy Faye” premieres in theaters on Sept. 17.
