Joe Alwyn Has Allegedly ‘Banned’ Any Mention Of His Taylor Swift Romance During His Press Tour

Taylor Swift's new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," shed light on the singer's past romances. This has caused some of her exes to be on guard about potential criticisms from Swift's loyal fanbase.

According to a report, her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn has banned any mention of their relationship during his upcoming press tour for the film, "Kinds of Kindness."

This comes amid claims that Swift is "worried" her fame could cause her current boyfriend, Travis  Kelce, to get "freaked out."

According to an insider who spoke with the DailyMail, Alwyn is "slightly disappointed" by what Swift wrote about their romance in her new album and has "banned" any questions about the relationship during the press tour for his upcoming film.

The insider further noted that the actor does not intend to address the songs about him and would keep his thoughts to himself.

"There has been absolutely zero contact between them," the source said. "She did not run these songs by him, but he did not expect her to."

They continued, "Joe has listened to the album, and he is slightly disappointed but not surprised at all. She didn't really trash him or defame him. Joe is not going to react to this."

Swift and Alwyn were very private about their relationship during their time together. Under the alias William Bowery, Alwyn worked with his ex-girlfriend on her critically acclaimed album, "Folklore."

According to the source, "[Alwyn] has made a ton of money off the six songs that he wrote for Taylor in the past and he is grateful that their relationship also helped to make him a household name."

Now, Swift's eleventh studio album comes just two months before the release of Alwyn's movie, "Kinds of Kindness."

The film, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, stars Swift's best friend Emma Stone as Alwyn's love interest.

According to a source, Alwyn will be doing press for the movie and does not intend to "entertain" any questions about his ex-girlfriend.

"He has a movie coming out that he is focused on. He will be doing press – but will not be entertaining any Taylor questions," the source said.

They added, "Joe has moved on. He is not holding any grudges against her for doing what she does. He knows that it was par for the course."

According to reports, Swift's deep affection for her new boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, makes her "worried" that he might feel overwhelmed by her fame.

"She wants a happy ending with Travis," an insider said, per Page Six. "She is worried about jinxing things." The insider elaborated on the singer's predicament, adding that "she is nervous something will mess things up."

While Kelce appears at ease in the spotlight with his own podcast and a previous stint on a dating show, "Catching Kelce," the tipster noted that "Swift's level of boundless fame can be daunting for anyone."

"There's very little oxygen between her life and fame," the insider explained. "Travis is a peacock, but he has never dated a celeb before, and she is one of the most famous women in the world. Right now he is enjoying everything and she is hoping that it stays like that."

The "Blank Space" singer is reportedly concerned about maintaining Kelce's comfort to ensure that "he doesn't get freaked out about the fame. That the constant-ness of it doesn't get exhausting for him."

Following the release of her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift is preparing for her highly anticipated return to Europe this May accompanied by her boyfriend, Kelce, and their families.

According to The Sun, the "Love Story" singer will kick off the next leg of her "Eras Tour" with a four-show run in France, where both families will join them until May 30.

Expectations are high for some heartwarming Kelce and Swift moments as they travel together.

After their time in Paris, the lovebirds are reportedly contemplating a side trip to Tuscany for culinary and scenic experiences before heading to Sweden for four performances at Stockholm's Friends Arena.

During an episode of his "New Heights" podcast on April 17, Travis talked a bit about his and Swift's Coachella experience. According to the NFL star, they both chose to enjoy the show from the pit, even though they could have easily gotten a backstage pass.

"I like to see it from the fans' perspective," Travis said on the podcast, explaining why they weren't backstage.

He added: "Because I am a fan of music, I'm a fan of live shows. I want to see it from the front of the stage. We probably could have finessed it that way, but I think it's just that much more of an experience if you're in the pit, man if you're in the madness with all the fans."
