John Stamos Vents About Bob Saget’s Death: ‘I Miss Getting A Text From Him’

Friends and fans of Bob Saget have been trying to cope with his passing, but it is easier said than done.

The late stand-up comedian is especially missed by his longtime best friend John Stamos, who is grappling with the unexpected loss.

The actor took to his social media with a heartbreaking message about how he misses communicating with his “Full House” co-star.

The “Big Shot” Actor Misses Texts From Late Bob Saget

On the morning of Thursday, January 13, Stamos updated his Twitter page with how he misses little things about his friendship with Saget.

The actor of the  “Fuller House” series expressed how hard it has been to cope with his friend’s painful absence.

Stamos expressed that “The mornings are hard”, and the pain of his colleague’s absence comes in “mostly bad” waves in the middle of the day.

The Daytime Emmy Award winner finds no relief from his sorrows during the nighttime and noted that they are also challenging. He concluded:

“I miss getting a text from him right now. Me answering. Him saying he’s too tired to respond. Me saying, “Then why’d you text me so early?”

Saget was born on May 17, 1956, and passed away unexpectedly at the Ritz-Carlton in Florida on Sunday, January 9.

The Blast revealed that Stamos penned a touching tribute to his late best friend showing that he was still stunned by his passing.

On Instagram, the 58-year-old uploaded a side-by-side photo of him and Saget suited up and facing the camera. He wrote in his captions:

“I’m not ready to accept that he’s gone – I’m not going to say goodbye yet. I’m going to imagine him out there, still on the road, doing what he loves with all his heart and humor.”

The “Grandfathered” lead pictured his best friend standing on stage for another two-hour set in front of an audience who are “the luckiest people on the planet” for witnessing his performance.

Stamos continued imagining Saget’s performance being so incredible that people were brought to tears laughing hard.

The “Scream Queens” actor also detailed what the stand-up comedian did upon concluding his Orlando show. He called his wife, Kelly Rizzo, saying he feels 26 and alive again.

Stamos recounted that Saget then asked Rizzo to fix up a photo to upload, but his wife told him his images did not need fixing as he was handsome already.

Saget told his wife he loved her with all his heart, and when he lay in his hotel room, he missed his family, daughters, and friends.

The “General Hospital” actor believes his late best friend “loves us all so much. And he goes to sleep dreaming of when we’ll all meet again.”

Stamos wishes that Saget is still smiling and hearing the laughter from his performance in Orlando. He ended the heartwarming tribute with a candid statement.

The “Scream Queens” actor confessed that he was yet to accept his best friend’s passing, writing, “I’m just not ready to say goodbye yet. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe.”

A fan commented, “Watched Full House last night. You guys were truly the dream team. So sorry for your loss, John. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Sending love.”

Stamos previously expressed his shock on Twitter after hearing the news that the “How I Met Your Mother” actor has left the world of the living.

The “You” actor tweeted that he is broken, gutted, and incomplete and utter shock over the news that Saget was found unresponsive at the Ritz-Carlton by security.

Stamos concluded his thoughts on”The Aristocrats” actor’s passing with ” I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much, Bobby.”

John Stamos Found Love With Caitlin McHugh Following Divorce

After divorcing Rebecca Romijn, who he was married to from 1998- 2005, Stamos did not find love as quickly as his ex-wife.

The Blast shared that after dating a few women here and there, the “Big Shot” actor found nobody to share his dreams of being a husband and father.

As Stamos was about to accept bachelorhood as his fate, he found out that life had better plans for him.

In 2016, the actor reprised his role as Uncle Jesse on the “Fuller House” series. He then met Caitlin McHugh, who is 23 years younger.

Age is just a number, after all, so they fell passionately in love and announced their engagement and news of an expected baby in December 2017.

Stamos’ dreams came true as the lovebirds tied the knot in February 2018 and welcomed a son named Billy in April. Hopefully, his loving family comforts him as he mourns Saget’s passing.
