The Waleses have arrived in America.
Kate Middleton and Prince William landed in Boston this afternoon for the start of their three-day visit to the city surrounding the Earthshot Awards — and they put on a united front in matching looks.
The Princess of Wales, 40, wore a dark suit with a matching turtleneck, paired with Princess Diana’s sapphire-and-diamond drop earrings and a sleek blowout.
William, 40, paired his coordinating suit with a blue printed tie and black shoes.
The couple was welcomed to Massachusetts at Logan Airport by Governor Charlie Baker, where they immediately paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth, calling her “one of life’s optimists.”
The Waleses were shown a display of photos of the queen and Prince Philip from their visit to Boston City Hall back in 1976.
“On this, our first overseas visit since the death of my grandmother, I would like to thank the people of Massachusetts and particularly of Boston for their many tributes paid to the late queen. She remembered her 1976 Bicentennial visit with great fondness,” William said in a speech upon arrival.
They will head to City Hall this afternoon to meet with the mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, along with John F. Kennedy’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy — who is now the ambassador of Australia — and Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry.
