Katie Thurston and Greg Grippo have spoken after ‘Bachelorette’ feud

Katie Thurston and controversial contestant Greg Grippo have spoken and “moved on” since their explosive confrontation on “After the Final Rose.”

Responding to a fan who accused the former “Bachelorette” of using her platform to “bully” Grippo, Thurston shot back on Thursday, “Greg and I have spoken privately and moved on. You should too.”

She added in another tweet that she is, “happily engaged” to winner Blake Moynes.

Grippo was a frontrunner on Thurston’s season of the hit ABC show, but their relationship fell apart during hometown dates when she wouldn’t tell him she loved him. Ultimately deciding to leave the show, Grippo, 28, left Thurston, 30, sobbing on the floor almost leaving her to quit as well.

Following his exit, Thurston took to Twitter accusing Grippo of “gaslighting,” a form of emotional abuse that leads someone to question their own sanity.

The pair then had a tense reunion on the “After the Final Rose” special, where she continued to accuse him of “gaslighting” as well as using the show and her for “exposure” for his “acting career.”

“You came at me and tried to make it seem like I did something so horrible you had to leave,” Thurston told Grippo.

Thurston’s heated conversation with Grippo left Bachelor Nation divided.

“Bachelor in Paradise” star Demi Burnett tweeted, “Why she this mad if she’s happily engaged lol.”

Former “Bachelorette” contestant Derek Peth wrote, “I haven’t watched this whole season, but why is Katie going in so hard on this Greg dude while she’s happy in her own engagement? This feels really unnecessary.”

Thurston clapped back at people questioning her feelings for Moynes, “It doesn’t make sense to forget how someone mistreated me and how it made me feel just because I’m very happy and in love. You have the opportunity to speak to someone who hurt you, you’re going to do it and you don’t really get that opportunity sometimes in real life when an ex does mistreat you.”

Grippo, meanwhile, later told Nick Viall, “I sadly wasn’t looking at it through Katie’s lens in that exact moment. Looking back on it, watching for the second time with all the viewers, yeah it came off like an ass.”

Both Grippo and Thurston have seemingly moved on from their relationship. Thurston has relocated to San Diego after road tripping through Canada with Moynes. Grippo has also moved on, living it up and traveling with some of his fellow contestants – including fan favorites Justin Glaze and Andrew Spencer.
