Kelly Rizzo: I am ‘completely shattered’ by husband Bob Saget’s death

Bob Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, is in shock over the untimely death of her TV legend husband.

“My whole heart. Bob was my absolute everything,” the lifestyle expert, 42, told Page Six on Monday. “I am so completely shattered and in disbelief. I am so deeply touched by the outpouring of love and tribute from our friends, family, his fans and his peers.”

Rizzo said she plans to give fans a deeper glimpse into who Saget was when the news of his passing is “not as raw” and the “time is right.”

“Sharing how much he meant to me, all of those around him, and how much all of his fans and friends meant to him as well,” she added. “Thank you for respecting my privacy at this time.”

Just hours after Saget’s death, his family told Page Six that Rizzo and the “Full House” star’s adult children were “devastated.” He was previously married to screenwriter and former attorney Sharri Kramer, with whom he shared daughters Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29.

“He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter,” the family said in a statement on Sunday night.

“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

Rizzo — who hosts her own digital series, “Eat Travel Rock TV” — wed Saget in 2018.

At the end of 2021, the journalist beautifully recapped their final year together with a post that showed the couple engaged in a variety of activities, including cooking together, exercising and kissing.

Saget was found dead at age 65 in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando on Sunday. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Several stars have since shared their condolences online and personal stories from their time with the comedian.

Saget’s “Full House” co-stars said in a joint statement on Monday, “Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we grieve as a family.

“Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob’s honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob.”

The statement was signed by stars John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber, Scott Weinger, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as series creator Jeff Franklin.
