Khloé Kardashian dropped 80 pounds post-pregnancy by cutting out this product

Khloé Kardashian shared how she lost 80 pounds after welcoming her daughter, True, in 2018.

The “Kardashians” star explained that the lifestyle and diet changes she learned ahead of getting pregnant made it easier to shed the pounds as she weighed more than 200 pounds after giving birth.

“I would cut out all sodas,” she said during an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of the “She MD” podcast.

“Little by little I would cut things out. I would do that for a week and then cut out one other thing because I realized I did every diet under the sun when I was younger.”

“It took me a long time to train myself and when I got pregnant with True, I was 204 pounds when I delivered,” Kardashian, 39, continued.

At the time, the mom of two recalled asking herself, “How am I going to do this again?”

“I took so many years to do it the first time but because I had all the tools in my toolbox, I knew what to do and I actually lost my pregnancy weight much faster than I ever did my regular fat weight,” she said. “I was so proud of myself, I did it twice.”

Kardashian admitted that diet and weight loss never came easy to her as she’s been “overweight a lot of [her] life.”

For years, she was stuck in the toxic cycle of being an “emotional eater,” often binging on junk food and then crying over her choices.

“I was sad so I needed the ice cream again. It was this crazy repeat cycle,” she said.

“It took years for me,” she added. “I’ve always been even chubby, like athletic. I’ve always played sports, I was never in shape. My thing is more the food because I have the determination, so I had to retrain my mind as to what I could eat [and] what I couldn’t eat.”

The Good American co-founder also found herself in the gym five days a week doing cardiovascular intervals with weightlifting.

“If I’m getting ready for a shoot I’ll do pilates and my workouts,” the reality star continued.

After molding her ideal body, Kardashian has often allowed herself to let loose when it comes to food, though she no longer has an appetite for her past guilty pleasures.

“Now that I’m in a good place body-wise, that I like, I do sort of eat what I want,” she explained. “But because my brain is so trained, you don’t even want to eat half the crap or junk.”

When she needs a treat, she usually reaches for a pizza.

“Pizza is my weakness. But now that I’m in this different state of mind, I’m never going to eat a full pizza,” Kardashian added. “But it’s retraining your brain. If your brain isn’t trained with your body then you’re not doing [anything], it doesn’t matter.”

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum shares True, 6, with ex-boyfriend Tristian Thompson.

The former couple are also parents to 1-year-old son Tatum, whom they welcomed via surrogate in July 2022.
