More like “Emily in Pain.”
Lily Collins revealed she had to see a foot doctor on a weekly basis while filming “Emily in Paris,” because her tootsies were in so much discomfort from hobbling across cobblestone streets in designer stilettos.
“I actually literally went to a podiatrist every week to fix my feet because I was wearing heels all the time,” Collins told Jimmy Fallon during Tuesday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”
“I had to have, like, insoles made for every pair of shoes.”
She added, “I’m not kidding. I felt pretty ancient.”
The actress, 33, added that if the show were to continue filming a spinoff in other cities, she would prefer that her character wear flats instead of heels, jokingly calling the show, “Emily in Flats.”

The Netflix show is set in Paris, which is known for its cobblestone streets. CAROLE BETHUEL/NETFLIXField said that Collins had specifically requested to wear Christian Louboutin heels on set, telling us in October last year, “I guess she managed, as she never expressed any difficulty in movement.”
Collins has been open about the lack of “comfort” in her “Emily in Paris” wardrobe, saying in November that in Season 2, “there are literally no sweatpants.”
