‘Love Is Blind’ Stars Shake And Kyle Swipe Jabs On Social Media

Some contestants from the latest season of “Love Is Blind” may agree with that statement, but the tension between certain members of the cast sure isn’t!

After a busy week for the contestants featured on the Netflix series’ second season featuring plenty of fresh photos on social media, including many from the cast’s adventures in Las Vegas, Instagram is still being kept hot by cast members Shake Chatterjee and Kyle Abrams.

Instead of reminiscing over “Love Is Blind’s” success, or potentially bonding over the fact neither of them successfully made it to the altar with their potential spouses, Chatterjee and Abrams are taking it to the comments section, and having words with one another.

What’s Going On Between Shake and Kyle?

Shake, who has received his share of criticism for the way he treated his fiancée Deepti ‘Deeps’ Vempati throughout their engagement, and Kyle, whose opposite religious views from his now ex-fiancée Shaina Hurley caused an irreparable rift in their relationship, are going head-to-head on the ‘Gram.

According to E!, Chatterjee jumped into the comments on a post promoting the upcoming reunion episode, after Abrams didn’t mince words when expressing his thoughts over the episode’s content. Abrams said, “Just me enjoying the train wreck.”

Any metaphorical trains came to a stop once Chatterjee responded “translation: you’re a little bihh.”

What Has Shake So Shook?

Chatterjee’s social media activity has been a frequent topic of conversation since the season finale dropped last Friday.

In the episode, Vempati decided against going through with her wedding to Chatterjee, which he seemed to shrug off almost immediately after Vempati finished her sentence.

Chatterjee was already looking forward to the point where he could rid himself of any sorrow with his upcoming reservation at Nobu.

After the episode dropped, the internet rallied around Vempati for deciding to love and choose herself in the end, while Chatterjee found himself the subject of criticism for his actions on their wedding day and throughout the series.

The groom-to-be was vocal throughout the season about his inability to be as physically attracted to Vempati as he had wished. Fans were certainly angry, and even those closest to Vempati decided to speak out against Chatterjee.

Chatterjee spoke out about the conversation surrounding him in a video he posted to Instagram, where he acknowledges he “Messed up” during the season, and also explained his actions came across as being “Way worse” than they actually were in real life.

He encouraged fans to keep all future discussions “constructive” and to “Keep the hate to [themselves] for now” before reminding fans he was only human.

Getting Real At The Reunion

It remains to be seen whether Chatterjee and Abrams will be having any type of constructive conversation at the cast reunion, which will drop on March 4th, but all signs so far point to “not a chance.”

E! also reported Chatterjee hinted at having some tea to spill at the reunion; he also commented, “I KEEPS IT REAL AT THE REUNION.” Noted, sir. Hopefully, he will stick to his promise to “Be better” from his aforementioned Instagram video!
