A man was arrested after he was caught pleasuring himself, and then falling asleep, while at a screening of Kristen Stewart's new film, 'Love Lies Bleeding'.

The moviegoer went to MJR Southgate Cinema in suburban Detroit to watch Stewart's Moving Picture, and clearly enjoyed the movie (perhaps a little bit too much).

'Love Lies Bleeding' is considered a s-xual film as it tells the story of a pair of lesbian lovers, set in the world of bodybuilding. The man in question went to see one of the first showings, but was soon "taken into custody by officers" after movie patrons caught him with his p-nis out, sleeping in his recliner.

The Southgate Police Department responded to MJR Southgate Cinema just after 9 p.m. local time on Thursday, "for a disorderly person who was intoxicated and refusing to leave the business."

Kristen Stewart On 'Love Lies Bleeding'

'Love Lies Bleeding' is Kristen Stewart's latest movie, which she says was really exciting to film. “I loved that it felt a bit like mythology, like a comic booky, throwback ’80s'."

“(Rose) made this audacious and singular, unique experience personal for us and let us be our own individuals and just, like, traipse all over her thing,” Stewart added when speaking to the Associated Press. “It’s so fun to work with people who are like cuckoo birds but also really concerted.”

The actress continued to explain how "in movies, somehow girls are kind of expected to make everyone feel really comfortable," but that is "a very default setting for women in general."

"And in this case, it was like, yeah, but what if I’m (expletive) and my rage is boiling out and bubbling over? And it also really turns me on to share that with another person?" she said of 'Love Lies Bleeding'.

Katy O'Brian, who stars alongside Stewart, added, "It wasn’t like just about resilience or just about one thing. There’s so much that you can read into it if you want to, which I think is cool. Or you can just watch it and have fun."

'Love Lies Bleeding' Gets Rave Reviews

'Love Lies Bleeding' first debuted at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, and has already created a strong impression amongst critics.

Variety critic Owen Gleiberman said that the movie “turns wild and garish, and you may think the film is losing control, yet [director] Rose Glass is fiercely in control of what she’s doing. She’s made a midnight noir that shoots over the top of our expectations but lands where it should, at a place where even valorous people have to go to extremes.”

Adam Nayman, who writes for The Ringer, says the film "proves sturdy enough to hang two movies at once: one a raw, bloody neo-noir à la Jim Thompson, the other a shapely, revisionist sexploitation riff designed for maximum multiplex transgression."

'Love Lives Bleeding' is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
