Meghan Markle is getting down to business.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, and Prince Harry, 37, kicked off a busy week of appearances yesterday at the One Young World Summit in Manchester — and the duchess made a statement with her meaningful fashion choices.
Wearing a red tie-neck blouse ($540) and matching trousers ($590) by sustainable brand Another Tomorrow, Markle took the stage for her first speech in the UK since stepping down as a senior member of the royal family.
According to the label’s website, it carries out “a value system based on three pillars – human, animal, and environmental welfare,” and the Duchess of Sussex’s pieces were crafted from sustainable viscose and ethically sourced merino wool.

She wore one of her go-to rings of late, the Shiffon “Duet” pinky ring ($300-$855), which gives back to female entrepreneurs and is designed to represent women supporting one another through a “pinky promise.”

According to the brand, the jewels were designed to represent the ancient Mesopotamian goddess Inanna and her knot, which is considered a symbol of protection and divine feminism.
Speaking at the event, which brought together young leaders from more than 190 countries, Markle encouraged attendees to use their voices to make a difference.

Today, the Sussexes departed for Germany to attend the Invictus Games “Dusseldorf 2023 – One Year to Go” event, with the duchess sporting a sleeveless white sweater by Anine Bing ($229) and tan belted, wide-legged Brandon Maxwell trousers ($1,295).

Even if there won’t be any royal meetups to look forward to, there’s more Meghan fashion ahead as the Sussexes attend the annual Well Child Awards in London Thursday night.
