Bob Saget Showed No Signs of Health Issues Weeks Before Death, Had Been Focused On Career

The unexpected and tragic passing of Bob Saget has rocked generations of fans and friends throughout the world, and The Blast is told the late star had been showing no red flags in the days leading up to his death.

Hitting The Road

Hours before 65-year-old Bob Saget was found dead inside the hotel room of a Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, the “Full House” star performed a 2-hour show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in nearby Jacksonville.

Loved tonight’s show in Jacksonville,” Saget wrote on Twitter. He added, “I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this sh*t.”

Jacksonville had been one of the first venues on the late star’s multi-city tour, which had been scheduled through June 2022 and included stops across the United States and up into Canada.

Bob Saget had a long history as a successful comic and was making a big comeback with live performances that also included the TV star breaking out his guitar for some music.

Ramping Up New Projects

In the days leading up to Bob Saget’s death, sources close to Saget tell The Blast he had shown no signs of slowing down with work and was actively pursuing new projects.

During the height of COVID, the late “Full House” star jumped on the podcast bandwagon with his “Bob Saget’s Here For You” podcast that quickly grew a big following. Interviewing fellow stars and comedians, Saget gave an amazing insight into the world of comedy and his own personal take on things. He had recently announced a new partnership that would take his podcast to the next level.

“I am very happy to be part of the All Things Comedy Family,”  stated Bob in a release on his website.

He added, “I’ve loved doing my podcast since it began a year ago March. Being with ATC will allow me to grow it rapidly, as they themselves are growing rapidly, and allowing me to be able to focus on Comedy even more, which is something I am certain the world needs a great deal more of.”

Along with his podcast and comedy tour, The Blast is told Bob Saget was looking to get involved in even more projects and was actively taking pitches on new opportunities. After his successful reprisal of Danny Tanner on “Fuller House,” it was clear Saget was embracing the love he felt from fans and was hitting a creative stride later in life.
