It’s common for actors to skip watching their own movies because they don’t like it; however, Leto takes it to a whole new level. While some may be forced to see themselves on screen due to movie premieres, film festivals, and the likes, the actor is quite adamant about not seeing himself on screen.

The “Morbius” star graced UK’s Radio X (Via Screen Rant) to promote his newest movie and revealed that he hadn’t seen a film he starred in for over 20 years. Leto told the host, Chris Moyles, about his distaste for watching his own projects.

The last time Leto sat through one of his own films was apparently in 2000 for “Requiem for a Dream.” The 50-year-old was made to sit through the movie screening at Cannes Film Festival by Darren Aronofsky, the film director.

Reese Witherspoon mentioned avoiding herself on screen, revealing that it would make her “spiral into a state of self-hate.” Other actors who disliked seeing themselves on screen include Javier Bardem, Joaquin Phoenix, and others.
