Kanye West Breaks His Silence On Divorce, Let’s Focus On ‘Our Beautiful Children’

Kanye West is breaking his silence on the ongoing divorce issues with Kim Kardashian, saying he wants to focus on their children.

The ‘Donda’ rapper opened up about the situation just hours before he is due in an L.A. County Court, to argue over a possible “bifurcation” of the former couple’s marital status.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star is asking a judge to order her legally single, even though the financial and custody issues have not been resolved in the case. The reality star attempted to convince the court that Kanye doesn’t want to be divorced, and wants a judge to order it.

Kanye issued a statement to Hollywood Unlocked, saying, “I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children.”

As we reported, Kanye appeared all along to be focused on the welfare and health of his four children. The rapper went public with allegations that Kim was holding him back from having a normal relationship and regular visitation with his kids. It started after Kardashian claimed she was the “main provider” for the children.

“What do you mean by the main provider? America saw you try to kidnap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address. You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs,” Kanye posted.

Kanye previously discussed his children with the site’s founder, Jason Lee, saying, “My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule. That’s why I even got the house, nothing with my career, with this reap, with this media, with none of that [is[ gonna keep mem from my children.

It should be noted, Kanye never objected to the divorce from Kim Kardashian. A media report cited recent legal documents filed by West, saying he is ‘weirdly’ challenging the couple’s prenuptial agreement. The story is just plain wrong. Actually, Kanye’s lawyer is pointing out the standard operating procedure of having the court or the parties validate the prenup following a divorce filing. Kanye is NOT challenging the actual agreement.

The ex-couple is due in court tomorrow, and the hearing will begin with the judge hearing legal issues with Kim’s request. In the end, Kanye is supporting the bifurcation of the marital status, but it might not get done — legally — until Kim files the proper paperwork.

Obviously, this new statement is to acknowledge he has no issue with the divorce going forward, or the ‘KUWTK’ reverting her name back to “Kim Kardashian” and dropping the “West.” Neither party is expected to attend the hearing in person.

Kanye and Kim got married in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy — the famous former couple shares 4 children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
