Kate Hudson is ‘absolutely not’ in a ‘hurry’ to plan Danny Fujikawa wedding

Wedding bells aren’t ringing anytime soon.

Kate Hudson shared that she is not in a rush to walk down the aisle with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.

“Absolutely not,” the “Glass Onion” star told “Entertainment Tonight” at the “Knives Out” sequel’s premiere in Los Angeles on Monday.

Hudson, 43, added that she and Fujikawa, 36, have other priorities right now.

“I love that man. He’s right over there, hiding, but the last thing we’re doing right now during the holidays is planning anything but the holidays,” she explained. “Yeah, we’re in no hurry.”

The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” star and the musician got engaged in September 2021.

The pair began dating in December 2016 and welcomed their daughter, Rani Rose, in October 2018.

This will be Hudon’s second marriage. She was previously married to Chris Robinson from December 2000 to October 2007. The actress and the Black Crowes frontman, 55, share 18-year-old son Ryder.

Hudson also has a son with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, 11-year-old Bingham. The exes broke up in December 2014 after being engaged for three years.

Hudson met Fujikawa through his stepsisters, Erin Foster and Sara Foster, while she was married to Robinson.

“The first time I met Danny I was 23 and enormously pregnant with Ryder,” she wrote in an Instagram post in December 2017 in celebration of their one-year dating anniversary. “His step sisters are my best friends @sarafoster @erinfoster and so it goes we have been in the same circle for over a decade!”

The “Almost Famous” star explained that Fujikawa, who has never been married, took “months” to make a move on her when they reconnected years later.

“A year ago today Danny took me on a hike and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date. No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move!” she shared. “And as a kiss on this bridge would have been nice, the kiss a year later was so much sweeter.”

Hudson continued, “So on our 15th year of knowing each other we were able to open our hearts to each other to feel so much pure love and it’s been truly incredible.! Happy first date anniversary baby. #LoveThisMan #WhatAYear.”
