Kim Kardashian roasted for ‘broken doll’-inspired look after Met Gala: ‘It’s giving… lost organs’

The corsets won’t stop coming.

Kim Kardashian has been making headlines for the extreme corseted look she wore on the Met Gala 2024 red carpet earlier this week, but on Wednesday she shared a peek at yet another waist-cinching ensemble — and riled up her Instagram followers yet again.

“Margiela Broken Doll” she captioned the carousel of photos, which showed the “Kardashians” star, 43, modeling a black leather corset over a nude turtleneck catsuit.

She wore beige satin over-the-knee socks featuring ripped detail over the Maison Margiela look, with the design appearing to mimic skinned knees.

In one pic, the Skims founder added a jaunty hat and a tortoiseshell-print collar of sorts around her neck, also modeling bizarre gloves featuring claw-like black fingers.

Kardashian — who posed for part of the shoot before dying her hair blond late last month — wore her hair tucked up into the hat and added black platform heels.

Fans had plenty to say about the look, like one who wrote, “I wish there was a dislike button. This is horrible.”

“Looks like abuse and its disturbing,” another Instagram user commented, while a third wrote, “kimmy it’s giving… lost organs.”

“Is that a Halloween costume?” one fan wondered, while another pondered if “she kneeled down in s—tty toilet paper ????.”

However, some defended the mom of four, like one fan who wrote, “Seems a lot of people don’t understand the difference between everyday fashion and couture. This is very Margiela. Its couture. It’s art.”

“I really don’t understand the hate. It’s an avant-garde costume. If you don’t like it, don’t wear it,” another added.

Her doll-like look follows another waist-whittling ensemble for the reality star this week.

Kardashian hit the Met Gala red carpet in another corseted Maison Margiela by John Galliano ‘fit on Monday, wearing a custom silver brocade corset with a metal skirt crafted to look like flowers and leaves in fitting with the event’s “garden of time” dress code.

However, the Skkn by Kim founder received similar backlash for her nearly nonexistent waist, with fans accusing her of promoting dangerous beauty standards for women — just like they did in 2019 when she wore an equally waist-whittling Mugler look to that year’s Met Gala.

We have a feeling she won’t stop wearing the tiny-waist trend any time soon.
