An ancient life-sized statue of a Roman emperor posing as the classical hero Hercules was found during sewer work near ancient Rome's first highway, the Appia Antica (Appian Way). The sculpture resembles Emperor Decius, who ruled Rome from AD 249 to 251, says an archeologist.
