‘Wonder Woman’ Comic Book Writer George Pérez Dead At 67

Comic book artist and writer George Pérez passed away at the age of 67.

The late talent was best known for his work on multiple DC properties, which included Wonder Woman, The Avengers, and Crisis on Infinite Earths. George was born in 1954 in the South Bronx and began his career in the 1970s, writing and illustrating works for both DC and Marvel.


Last December, George had taken to Facebook to announce that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and doctors had given him less than a year to live.
