Olivia Munn Teases New Photo Of ‘Adora-Bao’ New Baby With John Mulaney

Actress Olivia Munn and comedian John Mulaney are sharing some more sweet snaps of their newborn baby!

Mulaney, 39, and Munn, 41, recently welcomed their first son, Malcolm, together in November. Ahead of the new year, Munn posted a photo of her son to her Instagram Stories. In the snap, Mulaney can be seen lowering the baby into a steamer pot as he holds a lid above his head. Malcolm can be seen looking up at his father, as if confused.

“Lol, daddy’s new bánh bao recipe,” Munn captioned the snap with a smiling dumpling emoji. She posted a follow-up shot of Malcolm actually in the pot. Munn captioned the second shot, “Adora-bao.”

Apparently, Munn’s mother had pulled out the steamer to prepare bánh bao, a stuffed Vietnamese bun, for a New Year’s Eve dinner, and the couple just couldn’t resist!

On Christmas Eve, the couple both posted two different shots of their 1-month-old son sleeping in a white fuzzy blanket with a blue knit cap placed over his head.

“Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney,” Mulaney wrote. “He has his whole life ahead of him.”

“He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet,” Mulaney joked. “I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy holidays.”

Olivia Munn posted a similar shot, but from a different angle. “My Golden Ox baby,” she wrote. “Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney, Happy holidays.”

According to multiple sources, Munn actually gave birth on November 24 but did not release the news of the birth until December. The couple is believed to have started dating in May, right around the time Mulaney announced that he was divorcing his wife of 7 years, artist Anna Marie Tendler.

Munn Revealed That She Had ‘Overwhelming’ Feelings About Becoming A Mother

In an interview with “Today” co-host Hoda Kotb at the beginning of November, Munn talked about some of the concerns she had about becoming a mother for the first time.

“I feel good, I feel scared, I feel nervous, and I’m excited,” she shared. “I think I feel every day the feelings just kind of rotating through. I came home recently to a bunch of boxes and looking at everything I have to open up… it’s overwhelming. I know this is a small thing but I just don’t know how many of each item I need.”

“Like, how many blankets does a baby need?” she continued. “Like, truly, I wish somebody could tell me. How many onesies and diapers? What’s the best rocker? That’s a big question. Apparently, you need a really good rocker. And then one that can support your head because a lot of them go down too low. And then does it glide or rock? These keep me up at night. It’s really confusing.”

Fortunately, she said that she has been able to share those kinds of decisions with Mulaney, who has been supporting her throughout the pregnancy.

“We’re just really excited, we talk about the same stuff, which is like, which rocker, what kind of crib do you put the baby in?” she added. “What does the baby wear? Honestly, thank God for Facebook and Instagram and blogs because there’s a lot of moms who put out such great information that really has been a saving grace for me because … I’m really good with my dog. If it’s anything like having dogs, then I can do that, but I have a feeling it’s going to be much different.”
