Paradigm Hires Two, Promotes One As Brian Neal Joins Paradigm Media Entertainment’s Napoli Management Group 

Paradigm has hired Kyle Jensen as a Literary Content Agent and Jamie Kaye-Phillips as a Theatre Literary Content Agent, upping Matthew Nutty from Coordinator to Agent in the Talent department.

Additionally, Napoli Management Group, a division of Paradigm Media Entertainment, has tapped Brian Neal as an agent. A 23-year veteran of the television news industry, he’ll in his new role rep all levels of on-air talent in the national broadcast news space.

Jensen and Nutty will be based out of the agency’s Los Angeles office, with Kaye-Phillips working out of New York. Where Neal will be based is not yet clear.

The hirings follow December’s announcement that Todd Eisner, a 30-year veteran talent agent, had joined Paradigm from the now-folded A3. Over the past year, Paradigm has been staffing up with the hires of Chris Till and Neil A. Cohen, as well as internal promotions, having elevated 14 agents to Partner.

Jensen joins from Verve, where he spent seven years repping creators across film, television, and animation. Notable clients of his over the years have included Kelly Younger, Brooks McLaren, Tom O’Connor, SJ Inwards, James Madigan, Kyle Drew, Brian K. Vaughan, Robert Rugan, Ben Ripley, Alex & David Pastor, Lamont Magee, Benjamin Raab & Deric Hughes, Austin Everett, Danny Shelby, and Sean Tidwell. Previously leading development and production of projects in the digital space at Maker Studios, he began his career as a Talent trainee at WME.

Kaye-Phillips comes to Paradigm from UTA, where he represented some of Broadway’s most established and rising stars for the same amount of time — Dave Malloy, Jennifer Weber, David Neumann, Anne Carson, John J. Caswell, Jr., the design collective dots, Jan Versweyveld, a.k. payne, Nathan Koci, Heather Gilbert, and Mark Brokaw, among them. Previously, Kaye-Phillips also served as Vice President of Theatrical Productions at Weinstein Live Entertainment, and as a co-producer at Jeffrey Finn Productions, where he produced Broadway shows including An Act of God, The Tony Award-nominated The Elephant Man, I’ll Eat You Last, and Seminar.

Most recently serving at Paradigm as Talent Coordinator, Nutty joined the agency as as an assistant in the department in 2019. The Arizona State University alum previously worked at Independent Artist Group (then known as APA) — first, in the mailroom, and then as an executive assistant.

Veteran TV news exec and producer Neal has worked in television news markets across the country, including San Francisco and Sacramento. Most recently, he served as News Director at WLEX, the NBC affiliate in Lexington, Kentucky. He previously served in news management positions at WXII and WGHP in the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point, North Carolina market.
