Randall Emmett allegedly had a history of offering actresses work in exchange for sex, according to a bombshell exposé published by the Los Angeles Times Thursday.
However, the movie producer denies all allegations in the article, telling Page Six via his spokeswoman, Sallie Hofmeister, “This stems from one allegation dating back from 2012 that Randall denies.”
The movie producer also blames his ex-fiancée, “Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent, and her alleged “smear campaign.”
“These allegations are false and part of a now-familiar smear campaign orchestrated by Randall’s ex-fiancée to sway their custody dispute,” Hofmeister tells us.
“Lala Kent has lied and manipulated others in her desperate attempt to win full custody of her daughter, keep her name in the press and remain relevant in reality television.”
Kent’s rep declined to comment. However, a source tells Page Six, “This piece was clearly [done with] many, many sources over many, many months of reporting by the LA Times. Lala was a small part of this whole story. The article is really focused on Randall’s shady business practices for the last 10 years-plus.”
As our insider says, the LA Times claims it published the piece based off hundreds of court filings, internal company records and interviews with dozens of former associates who corroborated that the Emmett, 51, faces a mountain of debt, lawsuits and abuse allegations.
One woman, represented by powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred, claimed in a letter obtained by the newspaper that Emmett once told her when she was just 23 “that to receive acting work from [him], she would have to perform sexual favors.”
The aspiring actress chose to remain anonymous for fear of retribution.

The young woman landed minor roles in two of Emmett’s films, and according to Allred’s letter, during this period allegedly gave the movie producer massages, oral sex and allow him to “digitally penetrate” her in addition to standing naked in front of him as he masturbated in his office.
According to the letter, the rising thespian reportedly complied with Emmett’s requests because she was “seeking to further her career” and did not want to “anger an important producer in the industry.”
Emmett’s spokeswoman confirmed he received the letter but said he “denies” the “allegation from 2012.”
That said, the LA Times reported that Emmett reached a settlement agreement on Jan. 2 with Allred’s client for $200,000 to be paid over the course of two years, to which Hofmeister reiterates, “Randall staunchly denies the allegations dating back to 2012.”

The 30-year-old, who is based in Las Vegas, claimed in a declaration filed in Emmett’s custody proceeding that he asked her to “f—k on the dl,” meaning “down low,” and to “do heroin and meth,” according to the report.
“I was shocked, concerned and afraid because Randall is a stranger to me,” the woman wrote in the court document obtained by the publication. “His persistence despite my never responding to a single message from him is frightening.”
Hofmeister told the LA Times her client has been sober for almost a year and provided negative drug tests.
The crisis-management publicist, who’s also repped Harvey Weinstein, adds to Page Six, “This allegation conveniently arose in his custody proceeding with Lala, who could provide no forensic proof that these texts were not spoofed using one of many apps.
“Needless to say the judge gave this no credence. In addition, Randall provided the Times with unimpeachable proof that he had tested negative for drugs during this period and continues to be drug-free.”
A third woman, who also chose to remain anonymous, shared with the LA Times her own uncomfortable experience with Emmett.
She said that in 2014, the “Lone Survivor” producer approached her in his Rolls Royce as she was leaving a bar and allegedly said to her, “I’m not a creep, I promise. I’m a movie producer, you can Google me — please Google me.”
Emmett denied the incident occurred.
Emmett has three daughters. He shares a 1-year-old baby with Kent and has two older girls with ex-wife Ambyr Childers.randallemmettfilms/InstagramEmmett paid women to sign nondisclosure agreements to keep their alleged intimate relationships secret, the report alleged, which he also denied.
The “Midnight in the Switchgrass” director would allegedly email his lawyer to wire women money in exchange for their silence.
Emmett reportedly once offered a Florida model, with whom he allegedly was having an affair, $20,000 to keep her quiet about their dalliances.
Hofmeister declined to answer the Times’ inquiries about this particular woman but tells Page Six, “As the Times acknowledged, there is zero proof that Randall paid her any money to sign an NDA. In fact, she said just the opposite.”
Meanwhile, Kent, who was engaged to Emmett from 2018 to 2021 and has a 1-year-old daughter with him, claimed she was offered $14,000 at the start of their relationship — while he was still married to actress Ambyr Childers — but she declined.
Hofmeister says in response that Emmett’s discussions with Kent had to do with her being on a reality show.
“Randall did not want their relationship discussed on ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ but after four years of resistance, finally agreed to appear because the producers had threatened to cut Lala’s contract if he did not,” the spokeswoman tells Page Six.
The reality star, 31, also alleged to the LA Times that Emmett “tackled” and “knocked” her to the ground amid claims he had cheated.

Hofmeister says Kent “fabricated this account.”
She says, “His longtime nanny, Isabelle Morales, said in a sworn declaration that ‘neither was on the ground.’ I witnessed Randall and Lala fighting over his phone. The only physical interaction I saw was Randall taking back his phone from Lala.'”
Kent’s rep declined to comment on this matter. A source says, however, that as the LA Times “clearly states” there were five witnesses that the reality star at the time told about her allegedly getting “tackled to the ground” based on records she had kept.
Aside from the aforementioned claims of toxic behavior toward women, Emmett allegedly created a hostile work environment that has caused a “lingering emotional toll” to former employees.
Hofmeister claims Emmett “knows he can be demanding and expect the absolute best from his assistants, and regrets if he hurt any of their feelings.”
Per the LA Times, according to several lawsuits filed against Emmett and his company, he also owes more than $25 million to former financiers, an insurance company and a landlord in outstanding loans and disputed payments.
Hofmeister concludes, “These figures come from unresolved claims in pending lawsuits, most of which were filed during the pandemic when movie production dramatically slowed.”
