Rumors swirl that Jeff Bezos bought Howard Stern’s Palm Beach mansion for $300M — here’s the truth

The best rumor making the rounds in Palm Beach, Fla., these days outside of Mar-a-Lago is that Jeff Bezos tried to buy Howard Stern’s home for a cool $300 million.

Insiders around the ritzy enclave have been buzzing that the Amazon billionaire is snapping up the shock jock’s property.

One fashionable area resident breathlessly told Page Six, “The big rumor down here is that Jeff Bezos has bought Howard Stern’s Palm Beach house for $300 million.”

Fanning the rumors, Palm Beach magazine Palmer posted a blind item on Instagram under “Rumor Has It” that “the Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Palm Beach house hunt has come to a close with the purchase of a 2-acre, non-landmarked oceanfront estate currently owned by another high-profile local couple. Once close and recorded, the price is expected to top $300M.”

When we asked yet another local source about the supposed sale, they told us, “Hey, not true! Howard told Bezos it’s not for sale, even at $500 million!”

But sources close to Bezos and Stern both told us the rumors are not true at all.

A source insisted that Bezos is not even looking in Palm Beach, after he already bought up three mansions on coveted Indian Creek island near Miami (which cost him a mere $237 million).

The same source also said that Stern has shot down the Bezos rumors to pals.

The “America’s Got Talent” judge reportedly bought a sprawling oceanfront Palm Beach property in 2013 for $52 million via a trust. He and wife Beth Stern have spent an estimated $13 million renovating, reports have said.

The Post reported last year that Bezos was in the market for an oceanfront Palm Beach spread, as well as the third home on Indian Creek, a k a “Billionaire Bunker” where neighbors include NFL great Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and suave singer Julio Iglesias.

Besides being rich and famous, Bezos and Stern seemingly have little in common — except that they share the same birthday, Jan. 12.
