TikTok Influencer Remi Bader Body Shamed At Horse Ranch

TikTok influencer Remi Bader has the weight of her 2 million followers behind her after an incident at a horse ranch that was completely unacceptable has gone viral.

Remi Bader: Influencer, Fashionista, Horse Ride… Watcher

Bader has made a living out of body positivity by using social media and has gained quite the following. So much so that she sometimes gets invited to events that sound like a lot of fun. Normally, they are but this event at Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk is one she is probably wishing she skipped. 

The event was supposed to be a trail ride, an event set up by 80’s rocker Jon Bon Jovi and his son Jesse Bongiovi to promote their rosé company, Hampton Water. They choose Deep Hallow Ranch because of its beautiful scenery. Little did they know that their light-hearted event would turn into a mess.

Remi Bader Shared With Followers What Happened

In a detailed video, the influencer said she was asked to leave and called a “fat b***h” by one of the ranch staff, allegedly the owner’s son because she was apparently way too heavy to ride one of their horse. Bader said to her fans in the video; “I’ve rode horses before and have never had this issue. Please advertise this on your signs for the future.”

She admits that she weighs over 240 pounds but that has not proven to be a problem for her in the past. In response, Broudy Keogh the alleged son of the ranch owner posted his own video which he has now deleted because that’s the move these days. He says “when you’re not a fat b***h, you can ride at Deep Hollow Ranch,” as he galavants among the horses.  

One thing we admire about animals is that they seem smarter than us, most of them are proven to be, actually. Unfortunately, they aren’t able to talk, or else they would have told ol’ Broudy with a “U” that post and deletes fail almost 100% of the time. Bader has proven this by posting a video of herself reacting to the supposed deleted video on TikTok.

Other Sources Shared Their Account Of The Incident

PageSix shared that a source of theirs was invited to the same event and saw the incident go down. They too told a similar story to Bader’s own. A female ranchhand addressed Bader “in front of the whole group and said, ‘You can’t ride.’” 

When the influencer shared that she has ridden horses before the ranch hand responded; “You weigh too much.” And went on to tell Bader that it was “not my problem” when she said she wasn’t informed of the restriction.  Making matter worse, seeing how uncomfortable Bader was, the ranch hand allegedly “laughed” very loud in her face.

Remi Bader & The Incident Have Gone Viral

Since making her followers aware of the incident, the ranch has been receiving harsh reviews on Yelp, and Keogh is being personally attacked as well. Meanwhile, Bader is taking the high road by sharing her thoughts on the incident. 

“I get it, you have weight requirements and I’d never want to hurt the horses, but the way I was spoken to and laughed at by the owner and the way I was treated overall,” wrote Bader on her IG account. 

“What I experienced in person was only supported later by the owner’s son’s video, which made it very clear that they did not want me there because of my weight and that is truly disappointing.”

Deep Hallow Ranch Released A Statement

The ranch couldn’t go another day without addressing the very archaic issue that took place at their establishment. They posted an apology on Facebook. “It has come to our attention that a TikTok video was posted regarding the ranch and a teenage employee posted a response that in no way represents nor is aligned with the views that the owners of the ranch hold.” Sounds like Keogh could be in line to get disowned.

The ranch went on to state. “We would like to apologize to anyone who this offended and we do not condone or agree with any part of that employee’s video.” As for Jon Bon Jovi and his son’s company, they shared that they will no longer be associating with the ranch.

As for Remi, she clearly got the last laugh. The cheeky influencer posted the above photo on her IG Stories. As you can see she is sitting on a horse.
