Chart Toppers

Like Nastya topped our U.S. Top 50 for the second straight week. The Floridian family vlog, which has its roots in Eastern Europe, earned 597 million views during the week that was. Its titular star remains the most-subscribed individual creator on YouTube Kids, and Like Nastya is one of just five channels in the U.S. Top 50 to have at least 80 million total subscribers.

No U.S.-based channel has more subscribers than Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes, which took second place in our latest star-spangled ranking. The California-based channel, which has more than 122 million followers on YouTube in all, registered 558 million weekly views in the twilight of November. Not only were Like Nastya and Cocomelon the only two U.S.-based channels to get 500 million views this week, but in fact no other American hubs even crossed the 400 million view mark.

Third place in the U.S. went to Vlad and Niki. The popular kids channel has a lot in common with Like Nastya, from its Eastern European roots to its family vlog trappings. Over seven days, the two titular boys at the heart of the channel drew 343.9 million weekly views. That was good for a 17% week-over-week increase and a rise from fourth to third in the U.S. Top 50.

A newcomer to our charts wrapped up fourth place in our latest U.S. Top 50. Despite what its name would suggest, Taylor Red TV has nothing to do with a certain breakup album that just got a new “version” this month. Instead, it follows the colorful adventures of three redheads of YouTube Shorts. The channel has about 500 million lifetime views, with 338.5 million of those views coming during our most-recent seven-day measurement period.

LankyBox rounded out this week’s U.S. top five. The gaming and entertainment channel counted 313.9 million weekly views, but still fell two spots in our American ranking.

Top Gainers

Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson reached his highest chart position of the year this week. The North Carolina-bred star finished in 7th place in our U.S. Top 50 thanks to his 227 million weekly views. How did the epic challenge engineer score so many hits? Let’s talk about the incredible numbers generated by his Squid Game recreation.

The epic video, which smashed records in the days after its release, would have charted pretty highly if it were a channel unto itself. The viewership it picked up during its first four days of activity would place it in 13th place in our U.S. Top 50 even if no other videos were considered. Six channels in this week’s U.S. Top 50 have fewer subscribers than the number of subscribers MrBeast added in the first day after he released his buzzy video (1.4 million). The clip picked up 21,300 views per minute during its first four days on YouTube.

Of course, the rest of MrBeast’s channel didn’t in fact shut down after his Squid Game video went up. The 182% week-over-week traffic increase he boasted allowed him to move from 27th place in our U.S. Top 50 up to seventh. Now that’s how you go Beast Mode on the rankings.
