There are currently weather warnings in place for 10 counties.
Met Éireann has issued an updated Status Orange rain warning for Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.

Issued on Wednesday (27 October), it is valid from 5.30pm to 6am on Thursday.
"Following recent heavy rain today, there will be additional significant accumulations of rainfall this evening (Wednesday) and overnight with flooding in places," the warning reads.

As it stands, Met Éireann has five weather warnings in place for Ireland, the four others being Status Yellow rain warnings.
The first Status Yellow warning applies to Kildare, Laois and Tipperary and is also valid from 5.30pm on Wednesday to 6am on Thursday.
The second is for Cork and is in effect from 3am on Wednesday to 3am the following morning.

The third is for Carlow and Kilkenny and is in place from 5.30pm on Wednesday to 6am the next day.
Meanwhile, the final warning applies to Kerry and is valid from 1am on Wednesday to 1am on Thursday,
