Andreea Dragoi, a standout in college swimming and also making waves in the modeling world, fondly recalls her experience strutting the catwalk in New York!

The 21-year-old athlete from San Jose State University made a remarkable impression at New York Swim Week back in July 2023, and she recently took to her Instagram feed to share a video, reflecting on the cherished memories of her runway debut and expressing excitement for the upcoming "Swim Week season."

Strutting down the catwalk for Origin of Oceans, Dragoi turned heads in a striking purple one-piece, showcasing her modeling prowess.

Transitioning to Culture Cabana, the Romanian athlete flaunted her athletic physique in a sleek ice-white one-piece, captivating the audience with her elegance.

Adding to the spectacle, Dragoi shared snaps of an angelic ensemble, complete with feathered wings and a stunning white swimsuit from Vasaro Style.

In another clip of Dragoi's runway appearance, the brand wrote: "Andreea Dragoi, our charming bridal angel, took Vasaro's runway by storm. The white swimsuit, coupled with her radiant wings, set a powerful and trend-setting tone for New York Swim Week."

Following her recent front cover feature on Style Cruze magazine's Swimwear Special Edition, Dragoi's presence at Swim Week further solidifies her rising status in the fashion world.

In a December 2022 interview, Dragoi shared her modeling beginnings on the "SwimSwam" podcast, stating, "I started modeling in 2019 over the summer, right before I moved across the world to study in the United States."

She added, "I went to an agency and did a modeling course with them for one month. They taught me everything I knew. After that, I continued having photoshoots and going on TV shows and going on modeling runways."

In addition to her roles as a model and swimmer, Dragoi, affectionately dubbed the "Next Olivia Dunne," boasts a multifaceted portfolio as a beauty queen. Her accolades include being crowned Miss US Nation in October 2022, following her victory in the Miss California pageant just a few months prior.

"I am grateful for all the people I have in my life that make me happy and support me," Dragoi said. "And I am thankful that I now can have a say and influence the stereotypes and stigmas in the pageant and modeling world."
