Pharrell Williams is a renowned singer, songwriter, and record producer with various accolades under his belt, including 13 Grammy Awards. Aside from his successful career, the “Happy” crooner is also a proud father of four children.

During his recent trip to Egypt, the 48-year-old blessed fans with a series of photos taken from the exquisite location in addition to a rare image of his beautiful family.

A Proud Father

The 4-time BET Award winner flooded his Instagram page with breathtaking images of Egypt in all its glory as he posed beside various ancient ruins.

One particular photo captured the “Frontin'” singer with his stunning wife Helen Lasichanh and their firstborn Rocket Ayer.

This precious image was enough to melt the hearts of fans who gushed over the family in the comment section.

The post was captioned, “Lotus Enzymes,” which, according to the report by PEOPLE, was a reference to the particular component in the musician’s skincare line, Humanrace.

The 48-year-old and his longtime partner were blessed with their son in 2008 before the couple said their vows in 2013.

The father-of-four and his wife are well known for keeping their children out of the spotlight. However, in 2010 Rocket was honored by his father with the “Despicable Me” soundtrack, “Rocket’s Theme.”

In 2014, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the music producer revealed that his son’s unique name was inspired by his favorite songs, such as Stevie Wonder’s “Rocket Love” and Elton John’s “Rocket Man.”

He also stated that similarly to how Indians named their children after an “element or animal,” his son was named after a “man-made machine” designed to reach greater heights.

Williams has high hopes for his firstborn and shows mutual affection for his other children, a set of adorable triplets, who arrived in 2017.

Family Over Everything

Family is essential to the renowned singer, and he has proved that he goes all out to protect his loved ones on many occasions.

After the death of his cousin, Donovan Lynch, Williams retaliated against Virginia for failing to protect the black community.

As shared by The Guardian, the tragic event occurred earlier this year in Virginia Beach. A police officer killed the “1000” crooner’s cousin alongside Deshayla Harris while eight others were injured.

In response to this act of police brutality, the Virginia native called off his famous Something in the Water music festival and expressed his disappointment at the city’s officials in a candid letter.

The father-of-four explained that the festival served to dilute “racial tension” and unite the region by bringing about financial opportunities. However, his efforts were truncated by the “toxic energy” flowing through the city.

According to the report by Entrepreneur, the bad blood between Virginia Beach and the artist escalated after a local hotel denied Williams’s plans to host an event featuring the comedian Dave Chappelle.

The hotel’s owner, Bruce Thompson, turned down the event due to various concerns, including Chappelle’s content.

The comedian has been under fire for his recent Netflix stand-up special, which was offensive to organizations like GLAAD and the National Black Justice Coalition.
