Prince George told classmates to ‘watch out’ because dad William will be king: book

Do you even know who my father is?

Prince George warned classmates who were on his bad side that they’d better “watch out” because his father, Prince William, will one day be king, according to royal author Katie Nicholl.

“My dad will be king so you better watch out,” the royal expert claims the future monarch, 9, once said in her book, “The New Royals.”

According to the Daily Mail, Nicholl also writes about how George is very much aware that he will one day be king himself.

“They are raising their children, particularly Prince George, with an awareness of who he is and the role he will inherit, but they are keen not to weigh them down with a sense of duty,” the author said.

George was recently bumped up to second in line for the throne — with his dad, William, 40, being first in line — after King Charles III was proclaimed monarch following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

According to British historian Robert Lacey, it is unclear when the new Prince of Wales spoke to his young son about his future royal duties, but it is believed that William and his wife, Kate Middleton, first had that chat around George’s seventh birthday.

“William’s aim as a father, the prince stressed, was to give his son a normal family upbringing, enabling the monarchy to stay relevant and keep up with modern times,” the “Battle of Brothers” author wrote, according to the Daily Mail.

Although George is growing more knowledgable of the responsibilities he will one day take on, he still very much acts like a kid — even in public settings.

In July, he was caught making funny faces while watching a match at Wimbledon and more recently stuck his tongue out at photographers after the Queen’s funeral.

However, one attendee at the funeral noted that George and his sister, Princess Charlotte, were on their best behavior for the most part.

Olympic champion swimmer Mark Tewksburys said the eldest two children of the Prince and Princess of Wales were “incredibly well-behaved.”

Aside from George and Charlotte, William and Kate, 40, also share a 4-year-old son, Louis.
