Belafonte, 44, appears to have hired publicist Stephanie Ogbogu, and Ogbogu has turned to the Facebook group PR, Marketing and Media Czars to crowdsource connections at media outlets.
“I’m currently working with Stephen Belafonte, ex-husband to Mel B (Spice Girl, former X Factor UK host),” the social media post began. “As you’ve probably read over the years, the two had a very tumultuous relationship which led to divorce and a messy custody battle.
“For the first time ever, Stephen is ready to tell his side of the story and he’s holding nothing back,” Ogbogu continued. “I’m looking for publications interested in interviewing him.”
Ogbogu requested “leads” at various outlets, including “The Wendy Williams Show,” E! News, People and Us Weekly.
“Also, if you are at a publication, podcast, radio or TV show interested in an interview, please inbox me!”
Ogbogu didn’t immediately return Page Six’s “inbox” message.
The former couple finalized their divorce in August 2018.
Lindsay Lohan’s rep previously used the same Facebook group to try to bag her a “substantial” endorsement deal.
