FaZe Clan Dips Its Toes Into Music With Latest Signing

FaZe Clan’s latest signing marks the esports organization’s first-ever talent pact to exist outside of the gaming space.

FaZe Kaysan will serve as FaZe’s first in-house musician and gamer hybrid, the company said. He was welcomed into the fold via a star-studded video announcement featuring the D’Amelio sisters, Addison Rae, Noah Beck, Nikita Dragun, and Larray (see below).

Kaysan is a producer and DJ known for his Grammy-winning work with rapper Future. He’s also an avid gamer; while he doesn’t boast his own accounts on either Twitch or YouTube, he frequently games with Adin Ross and members of FaZe on their streams. In a statement, he said the relationship with FaZe has been in the works for nearly a year. He counts 57,000 followers on Instagram, his biggest platform.

“FaZe Clan has always supported artists and we have always believed in the crossover between music, lifestyle, and gaming,” founding members FaZe Rain and FaZe Temperrr said in the announcement video (below). “The FaZe roster has grown over the years and really laid the foundation for the next chapter in content. We are super excited about this next move.

Kaysan’s debut single, “Made A Way” featuring Lil Durk and Future, will drop tomorrow at midnight, with a music video to follow on Wednesday. The track is already garnering buzz after Charli D’Amelio, TikTok’s most-followed creator and a friend of Kaysan’s, posted two video using the track that have collective garnered 13 million views.
