Rosie O’Donnell Gushes Over ‘Very Sexy’ And ‘Perfect’ Girlfriend

Rosie O’Donnell is head over heels in love with her new TikTok Girlfriend!

The famous comedienne is having the best time of her life and is head over heels for her new girlfriend, Aimee Hauer. The actress and comedian, who is openly gay, recently revealed that she is in love with the content creator whom she has been dating since June.

In an appearance on the Howard Stern Show, O’Donnell gushed about the 43-year-old and how “sexy” she is. The “A League Of Their Own” star also revealed that they met on TikTok after she sent Hauer a dm. She then announced to her almost 500k Instagram followers that they were officially dating on June 1st.

The “View” alum also explained that the relationship felt unique as she had never met any of her exes through social media before.

O’Donnell said during her conversation with Stern, “I watched her little videos and every time I saw her I would smile and [be] like, ‘This woman is perfect. Look at her, she’s so happy and enthusiastic and bright and she has a light coming from her.”

She also shared the story of how their romance started. “I thought maybe we would be friends,” she recalled. However, she caught feelings for her within a few days and told her how she felt. “I said, ‘You’re very beautiful, I love your look,’ and 10 days later she wrote me back a little video. she was singing a song.”

O’Donnell also noted that she was taking things slow with her new girlfriend. “I’m in love, I am. She’s really kind and wonderful,” she said about Hauer. “I like the pace that we’re going at, it’s not a U-Haul situation,” she added.

The “Fosters” star also admitted that the masseuse who has 23 tattoos was “very, very sexy to” her. While O’Donnell may be currently all about her girlfriend, she has had quite a life full of romance. The actress has been married two times in the past.

She Was Married Before

During an episode of the “Lesbian Speaking” podcast (per Page Six), O’Donnell explained that she was brought up in a Mormon home by strict parents. However, this didn’t stop her from being openly gay. At the age of 21, she married her first wife, Kelli Carpenter, with whom she shared five kids.

The two got divorced in 2007 after spending five years together. O’ Donnell then remarried Michelle Rounds in 2011 and officially divorced her in 2015. The actress also got engaged to Elizabeth Rooney, a Boston police officer, in the past. After two years together, they broke up in 2019.

Rosie O’Donnell Doesn’t Plan To Remarry

The 60-year-old has also said she has no plans to remarry. In reply to whether she and Hauer would be tying the knot, she said, “No, we’re not doing a third marriage, two is enough, I promise you.” She also admitted that marriage wasn’t her forte. “I would say it’s not my best thing.”

While the star doesn’t plan to marry again, she is focusing on her relationship and creating awareness for the LGBTQ community. In a recent appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers“, she opened up about the entertainment industry failing to talk about the sexuality of some characters.

For example, the actress referenced the Penny Marshall 1992 film “A League Of Their Own,” in which she starred in. “‘Why didn’t Penny add that?'” She asked. While she was upset at this, she admitted that it was harder for members of the LGBTQ community to come “out” or be represented in movies at the time. However, things are better now.

She Believes ‘Society Has Changed So Much’

During the interview, O’Donnell noted that things were different from before. “Society has changed so much, people don’t realize,” she said. “In 1991…nobody was out…right? I mean, it was a different time.”

She then revealed that she asked the film’s co-creator, Abbi Jacobson, to convince Marshall to do a reboot. The Rosie Show star got her wish as Marshall agreed to do a “League Of Their Own” inspired film which focuses on the sexuality of the athletes and “the racism that occurred.”

O’ Donnell said she was equally excited and nervous about creating the film. She said, “I remember thinking “that’s gonna be tough.” The actress explained that while she believed that the film industry could do more for the LGBTQ community, she was proud of how far society had come since the film was released.
