Natasha Lyonne Revealed Late Marlon Brando Once Grabbed Her Boob In ‘Scary Movie 2’

In a recent interview, the 43-year-old Natasha Lyonne shocked fans with some weird news. She revealed that she had a video of the legendary Marlon Brando grabbing her breast in a deleted scene of the 2001 film “Scary Movie 2.”

Lyonne was featured in the film’s opening, which was a parody of the horror project “The Exorcist.” In this parody, she played a demon-possessed young girl. She visited two priests, played by Andy Richter and James Woods, who tried and failed to remove the demon from her.

During the interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lyonne explained the video with Brando to her fans. Keep reading to find out more details.

Natasha Lyonne Explained The Video

Lyonne mentioned during her interview that the “The Godfather” legend was initially cast as one of the priests and shot some scenes before leaving for Woods to take over. Concerning the video, she said, “I have a VHS copy of the dailies that I got because Marlon Brando’s final role — sadly for him, but luckily for me — is doing this ‘Exorcist’ opening teaser.”

“I don’t know what he was thinking, really,” she continued, explaining her shock. She also noted that the boob-holding was scripted. “He had an oxygen tank and he just kind of held my boob because that was in the script,” she said. “He was supposed to be like, ‘The power of Christ compels you.’

“I just remember being like, ‘Ah, this is the surrealism that André Breton and Salvador Dali were talking about,’” she continued. Lyonne also recalled Brando being “very chatty” during his time on the set and always had earpieces on.

She added that while she was surprised, she realized that it was part of the show, and it didn’t matter. “This was all happening at once, and I remember like, ‘You know, showbiz is all right.’ At that moment, showbiz was A-okay.”

Marlon Brando Was Excited About The Role

The renowned actor was given the opportunity to be in “Scary Movie 2” and was excited about it. While the film received mixed reactions, it was also very influential and inspired several other parodies.

It was very commercially successful, almost as well as its first movie. However, the bad reviews highlighted how there was an obvious difference between the critical reception and popular reception.

Brando was reportedly offered $2 million for his role in the film. However, his joy of being part of the movie was cut short when he was hospitalized for his health conditions. Per the movie’s co-writer and star, Shawn Wayans, Brando only showed up for one day of filming. “He wanted to go for it. He had an oxygen mask, and we were like, ‘Yo, we gotta let him go. This guy is not healthy,’” he said.

Why Brando Dropped Out

Lyonne mentioned to fans that Brando dropped out because of some health issues. About three years after the film premiered, the acting icon died at age 80 in 2004. Sources revealed that respiratory and heart issues were the cause of death.

Fans still remember Brando as he was a very influential actor in the 20th century. He received several awards for his performances throughout his six decades of acting, including two Oscars, three British Academy Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards.

Lyonne also mentioned in the interview that it was “a little weird” for Woods to accept to replace the legendary Brando as a priest. Richter retained his role as the other priest. Lyonne commented, “Andy Richter and I still do bits about it. So, all told, a fine experience.”
