Sharon Stone reveals that her 11-month-old nephew’s organs saved three lives

Sharon Stone, who recently announced the death of her 11-month-old nephew, has revealed that the child’s donated organs helped save three lives.

River, the nephew and godson of the 63-year-old actress, died late last month from total organ failure.

Stone told People at the premiere of “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” in the Big Apple this week that River’s organs had been donated.

“The fact that my godson was able to save three lives, two infants and a 45-year-old man, was a sanctuary for our family,” Stone told the mag.

“I can only say that you never, never know when a tragedy will happen in your life or in your family, but this opportunity to be an organ donor, it saved us, saved our family,” the “Basic Instinct” star said.

“Many people have many different thoughts about this, but in the end, it gave us some peace,” Stone added.

The actress has posted a heartbreaking video of the tiny tot — the son of her younger brother, Patrick Stone, and his wife Tasha — to her Instagram account to honor his memory.

The diaper-clad boy was seen smiling and laughing while Eric Clapton’s song “Tears In Heaven” — written after the death of his own son — played.
