Shay Mitchell Will Not ‘Stop Showing Off’ Her Baby Bump As She Stuns In Designer Threads

Shay Mitchell rose to the spotlight after playing Emily in “Pretty Little Liars,” a movie centered around four teenagers who dealt with the disappearance of their friend. Following the show’s end, the actress has featured in several other projects, including “You” and “The Possession Of Hannah Grace.” She also filmed the Hulu series “Dollface.”

When the ex-model isn’t acting, she’s taking “Shaycations” worldwide and sharing her trips with her 33million followers. It’d appear she can do it all. About two years ago, she took on one of the greatest roles of her life: being a mother.

It’d seem that role is one she’s great at, as she recently announced the news of the pregnancy of baby number two. She also added that she’d never stop being sexy, despite her pregnancy.

The former “Pretty Little Liars” actress took to her TikTok to post a video of her lip-syncing to a statement said by Ruth Langmore, which Julia Garner played in “Ozark.”

“If you want to stop me, you’re going to have to f–king kill me.”

At the beginning of the video, Mitchell says writes in the caption,

“You’re pregnant! Stop showing off your belly and trying to be sexy!” Following the usual TikTok format, the clip switches to her draped in Fendi with a new caption simply stating, “No.” Mitchell clearly can not be bothered by trolls!

The actress is also determined not to let her pregnancy prevent her from being fit. Recently, she shared a montage that featured the actress working out in a crop-top and cycling shorts. She also performed weighted deadlifts and squats.

Her trainer also encouraged her to work on her posture to support her baby bump by adding monster walks and shoulder activation exercises to the mix.

Although she continued to breathe heavily, her trainer continued to offer words of motivation.

Mitchell had previously spoken about her love for exercise, adding that it makes her mind and body “very focused.”

“Anything physical has such a positive impact on people; the dopamine and serotonin that get released when you work out—afterwards, you feel amazing.”

Mitchell Announced The News Of Her Second Pregnancy In February

In February, the actress disclosed that she was pregnant and expecting baby number two with her longtime partner, Matte Babel. This announcement of a new addition came after the loss of the actress’ grandmother, who died the week before.

“Saying goodbye to a loved one while simultaneously experiencing the joy of welcoming another into this world is the great cycle of life. It is also my most challenging season to date,” Mitchell wrote alongside images that showed off her baby bump. “I can’t help but think this was the universe’s plan all along, knowing I would need otherworldly joy to cushion the blow of losing one of the most important people in my life.”

She continued, “Gram, I miss you every day. Little one, we are so excited to meet you. I breathe a sigh of peace knowing you two are already connected in such a cosmic way.”

Before this news, Mitchell shared with E! News their intention to expand their family. She even jokingly added that she’d have loved to welcome a baby “during quarantine.”

“I’d love to have more kids when the time is right,” she concluded.

She Experienced Prenatal Depression Following Pregnancy Of First Child

Mitchell admitted to suffering from depression following the pregnancy of her first child. She mentioned that she had always been aware of postpartum depression but was shocked to have hers come at the beginning of her pregnancy.

“I thought I was going out of my mind and questioned why nobody ever talked to me about this phase,” she added, per Page Six. “I’ve been fortunate since sharing the news of my pregnancy to have some amazing conversations with other pregnant women and moms and know that all these feelings are ‘normal,’ so now we just need to normalize them by discussing more openly.”

Mitchell Had A Miscarriage Before The Birth Of Baby Atlas

At the start of 2019, the “Pretty Little Liars” alum shared the heartfelt news of her miscarriage with fans.

In a message to her fans, she wrote, “The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days, one of which happened last year after I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams.”

She also shared the sonogram of the baby and added a heartbreaking emoji, per E! online.

Mitchell concluded her post by imploring her fans to be a “little more compassionate, empathetic, patient, and thoughtful” in the new year.

“I think that we need to remember that we are all on this journey together—in good times and in bad—and to remind ourselves that we seldom really know or understand the struggles and hardships that other people are going through.”
