Lindsay Lohan is preparing to become a Miss. Lohan no more.
The engaged actress is currently planning her first-ever wedding.
Lohan got engaged in November to Bader Shammas. The couple were dating for two years before getting engaged.
Lilo opened up about her upcoming nuptials on “Good Morning America” on Friday, February 4.

She said of her relationship with Shammas, “I’m a very lucky girl and he’s a very lucky man.”
And while most of her famous friends have thrown HUGE shebang’s for their weddings, ehem Paris Hilton, Lindsay is going to keep it a bit more tame.

“I want to keep it small and intimate,” she revealed. “Just you know, family focused and just really beautiful.”
While fans wait with bated breath for her big day, they will be able to see her during the upcoming Super Bowl.
Lindsay stars in a new Planet Fitness commercial which will air during Super Bowl LVI. William Shatner narrates and the commercial is titled, “What’s Gotten Into Lindsay?”

It also stars cameos from Dennis Rodman and Danny Trejo, and will embrace her missteps with humor.
It’s no secret Lindsay had a WILD past with multiple headline-making scandals just like Rodman and Trejo.
Speaking about her commercial she said, “I was really involved in the concept. You have to poke fun at things, bring light to the situation especially because I’m in such a good place to talk about it. This is the final, the final, last time we will go backwards and bring up the past.”

Speaking of looking forward, Lilo also opened up to ‘GMA’ about what’s been keeping her grounded and centered.
“I think it takes time. Just really a lot of soul searching and taking time for you. And really, a lot of it was change of scenery, people, places and things, a lot of that made a big difference,” she explained. “Not filming for so long and not, you know, making movies for a long time, especially during the pandemic, that really made me appreciate it more and miss it so much more that I knew I was ready to come back.”
And come back she did!
In 2021 she filmed a new Netflix Holiday rom-com that is set for a release this year.
The Christmas movie, which has yet to be titled, stars Chord Overstreet.
According to Variety, “In this new movie, Lohan will play a ‘newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress’ who gets amnesia after a skiing accident and ‘finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.’”
That same month, LiLo seemingly teased this project on her Instagram account. She posted a photo of herself in a green dress in the desert with stagehands assisting her with the dress and a boom mic overhead. She captioned the photo, “The beginning of something…”
It was also announced this year that Lindsay will debut her first-ever podcast with Red Arrow Studios’ Studio71.
LiLo has not yet announced the name of her podcast, but we’re going to guess she’s got a few options to choose from given her impressive acting career.
This podcast will be Lindsay’s first big project since her MTV show, “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club.”
The reality TV show followed Lindsay as she ran her Grecian beach club and managed a crew of young, party-going employees.
Lindsay’s ‘Beach Club’ only survived two seasons on the network, and her beach club shut down soon afterward.
Lindsay became a bit of a recluse from the public eye after her beach club failed.
This podcast will allow the “Mean Girls” star to “share her authentic voice,” giving listeners “a chance to experience a never-before-seen side” of the actress.
“I’m excited to partner with Studio71 in the development and production of my podcast,” said Lindsay, per Deadline. “I’m looking forward to connecting with more of my fans and having intimate conversations with friends and thought leaders across all industries.”
