T.J. Holmes called himself ‘a marriage proponent’ before alleged ‘GMA’ affairs

T.J. Holmes once referred to himself as a “proponent” of marriage before his alleged affairs were thrust into the spotlight.

“Marriage gets a bad rap so many times,” the “GMA3” host, 45, said in a resurfaced audition tape for “Entertainment Tonight” in 2014.

“I’m such a marriage proponent. I want everybody to get married. I think everybody should and I think you’re better off in doing so.”

Holmes – who has been married to Marilee Fiebig since 2010 – has been making headlines this week for his alleged affair with “GMA3” co-anchor Amy Robach.

Shortly after the bombshell news broke, Page Six reported that Holmes previously cheated on Fiebig with another staffer.

The TV personality was allegedly involved in a three-year affair with “Good Morning America” producer Natasha Singh that began in 2016.

Multiple sources told us that the cheating duo confided in Robach about their infidelity, with one insider saying, “Amy was the person they went to talk to about their affair and marriages.”

The alleged affair between Holmes and Singh began when the latter — who has since departed the morning show — was working as a producer in the Los Angeles office.

We’re told they would meet up for romps during Holmes’ travels to California, but things got more serious when Singh relocated to New York in 2018.

“She fell in love with him. He had a key to her apartment,” an insider told us.

Fiebig allegedly found out about the affair in 2019 after discovering several emails, at which time Holmes ended the three-year relationship.

We’re told the couple were working to reconcile their marriage amid the coronavirus pandemic, to no avail.

Sources previously told the Daily Mail that Holmes and Robach, 49, split from their respective spouses earlier this year.

Robach reportedly left her husband, Andrew Shue, in August, while Holmes and Fiebig had been separated for four months. However, an insider told Page Six that Fiebig was still “blindsided” by the affair.

“She’s devastated. She had no idea,” the source said. “They haven’t been together in [a while], but they were trying to work it out.”

After news broke, the “GMA3” co-hosts appeared together on their usual Friday morning slot, choosing to ignore the romance speculation and conduct in business as usual. Reps for Holmes and Robach have not responded to Page Six’s multiple requests for comment.
